Hi! One question please. I know that we cant search objects from the debug menu. So does the sanding block comes with a certain content/pack so that I can find it easier from the filter option? Thanks so much before.

I can't get the one with mirrors to work! :-( you can see through the mirror area when sized up. Maybe I need to update. Hack looks amazing idk how you thought of this!!!
Love this fire place, I've just tried to make it but I can't scale down the fireplace that you use as small as you do. I've used all the cheats and the brackets to make the items smaller but none of the fireplaces become as small as yours, do you have another way that you scale down?
Thanks! That's strange - there is only one way to resize unless you are using TOOL mod, but that's not being used here, do you have move objects on? It should get pretty small just using game cheats - the only thing I can think of is repairing your game, but also, what platform do you play on console, PC - win or MAC?
@@saffira2010 I honestly don't know why you can't get it any smaller, it might work better with the controller. Is it the same for every fireplace you've tried? Another option would be to find one on the gallery - I actually have these rooms on the gallery - you could just take the fireplace out and save it in a 1x1 room to your library then just place the room and grab it out of the room when you need it =)
Console has almost all the same cheats PC has ( If you use a mouse & keyboard on console you can use all the same PC cheats) You can resize objects on console: simscommunity.info/2017/11/14/how-to-resize-objects-on-the-sims-4-xbox-one-ps4/
It's bb.showhiddenobjects & bb.showliveeditobjects no spaces - if you still can't get them to work is your game up to date? if you are on PC you can try repairing your game or try entering the cheat testingcheats on first. You can also try in live mode.
If you are on PC, make sure you have entered the cheat bb.showhiddenobjects, then type in ToolSandingBlockGen_01 into the search bar and it should pop up.
@@Sophie-vc9gb No, it's base game. You could try turning on testing cheats and/or deleting your onlinethumbnailcache folder. Are you seeing ANY objects when you type in debug?
did you enter the cheat bb.showhiddenobjects? You need to type in toolsandingblock - Also, you don't have to use it, the fireplace will work without it.
hey ive tried googling and seeing if anyone has asked the qustion before but cant find the answer... if i put the downsized fireplace on another object like a cabinet or block, my sim refuses to light the fire only if the fireplace in on the floor will she light it any clue what im doing wrong??? xx
The fireplace won't work if it's elevated more than 2x, also there are some objects that they won't be able to light it through, if you are using a cabinet it has to be a half tile cabinet.
@@Schnuck01 i got it...i thought i had a problem moving my fireplace; upon rewatching ur video again, the problem was the wall since my fireplace kept on being placed automatically on the wall lol so I removed the wall first haha although i cant seem to spin the fireplace freely while holding alt like any other furnitures but that isnt the biggest problem... lol thanks for the reply 🙆♂️
What item? The sanding block? make sure you have entered the cheat bb.showhiddenobjects and then try searching for it by name: toolSandingBlockGEN_01 .
@@Schnuck01 yeah the sanding block :/ i should have mentioned that i play on ps4.Entering the debug menu is a whole different process and i just figured it out a few hours ago 😂 thank you for telling me the item Name, i appreciate it💕
