The SoonJung 10-Free Moist Emulsion is not fungal acne safe (contains Stearic Acid, Hydrogenated Lecithin and a few other triggers). It is difficult finding proper Malassezia safe moisturizers, emulsions and lotions.
I’ve tried all of their cleansers and the only one I can’t use is the hydration cleanser. I didn’t know that was the one she mentioned. I’m highly sensitive to Polysorbate. And you’re right I don’t have it anymore.
Really? I use the Cerave acne foaming cleanser as of now, and it was said to be FA safe. Do you have a FA safe foaming cleanser + moisturizer you’d recommend? I have combination skin, but gel moisturizers really dry me out. I’m using the Hada Labo one right now which is also supposed to be FA safe and it isn’t going well, my skin feels terrible :( Note: my derm diagnosed me with xerosis.
best simple routine for fungal acne (all completely FA safe - this took many hours of research so you're welcome lol) 1) cleanser (eucerin hydrating gel cleanser - I got mine from CVS it was about $10) 2) nizoral anti-dandruff shampoo (use as a face and body cleanser and mask - use this every other night or every two nights to start, you can up to every night if you need to. I slather it on in the shower, wait the length of a song or two, then rise off (that's how I time things in the shower lmao) 3) anti-fungal treatment (I personally love tioconazole ointment - this is actually a yeast infection treatment lol but it works and is the only FA safe anti-fungal I've personally found at the drugstore, walmart, etc. the store brand cheap one is fine) 4) water/gel moisturizer (my number one holy grail is cetaphil deep hydration skin restoring water gel - this one is absolutely the best - it's completely FA safe. it's a little pricey at about $20 but the pod will last you for awhile and almost all moisturizers will sadly feed the fungi - this one absolutely will not) you can do the moisturizer before the tioconazole also if your skin is sensitive. you can also add in benzoyl peroxide gel before the anti-fungal (the cheapy one from walmart is fine) but don't use this for FA without also specifically using an anti-fungal! Hope this helps :) I cleared my FA that didn't budge for YEARS with this routine and it was mostly gone in a few days, completely gone after a week :)
@@ofomeikpemi638 I'm personally using the new Eucerin Advanced Hydration with Hyaluronic Acid and Humectants! FA safe and affordable - I got mine at Target
When i keep focusing on get rid the acne, my skin getting dry at the same time. Don't know what to do.when i add in hydrating cream, it'll welcome the acne.
Ka! Because your moisturizer contains oils, fatty acids, esters etc. There’s only one fungal acne safe oil, besides mineral oil, which is Squalane ka. Stay away from moisturizers with long ingredients lists, park shea, olive oil, castor oil, cocnut oil, sunflower oil etc. If you got Malasezzia Folliculitis, you can’t use 99% of all skin care and makeup out there as they contain yeast growing/triggering ingredients like oils, fermented, fatty acids an esters!
Ok i fucking hate how everyone is talking about reccomendations and what not to buy for fungal acne but they give no fuck about what IF you already bouggjt a non FA safe product.Should i throw it away or what?????
