The candida infection that I had in my csf was probably the most painful thing Ive ever felt. The seizure was scary too. Doctors and other medical staff are real life superheroes!
I survived two strains of Candida in the last year. Got it through the drain (nurse didn’t notice it was left open for hours)in my back after my 7th spinal surgery. They caused sepsis, meningitis & encephalopathy. Was in ICU last November (one day after surgery discharge), again in February, and finally in March 2023 when I almost died. Note: I had been on Cosyntex for psoriatic arthritis. I have no memory of when I’d “black out”, being in ICU, etc. I had to come home with picc line infusing multiple meds including Fluconazole that was changed to oral @ 400mg/day for 7 months. Just got done with it. Ended up having to have my hardware from L2-S2 (SI Joints) taken out August 9 bc I contracted Osteomyelitis to my spine bc the fungus had been sitting next to it for so long. Very painful I might add, so neurosurgeon took all hardware out so it wouldn’t spread more. I’m FINALLY feeling better (Nov 14 was a year), but I still have no memory of a lot. In March I was in a coma for two weeks & when I woke up, I couldn’t form a sentence/have a conversation or even get into my phone which both were very frustrating for me. I don’t wish what I went through for over 11 months on anyone. It was pure hell. Btw, I’m a 50 yr old female in southern Alabama. So grateful God saw fit not to take me bc I came so VERY close. 😢
I've just been diagnosed with a fungal organism, but would like to know what kind, they look like the omega sign, and are stacked like a deck of cards, and the smaller ones start off like glass looking, and give off like thousands of dandruff white/brown /black, they have spread to my skin, and I get a lot of headaches, would love to know what type
Please is it possible for a man to be infected with fungal? I occasionally experience stomach touch, front head vibration inside, neck-shoulder pain, my tongue always feels as if I drank hot tea pimples, and loss of weight. Please I need your advice and solution
