DJSS is by far his best work yet! And tbh I can see the DJ play all of Funk Fiction's songs at a concert at Club Planetarium. They just have a similar vibe going on! :D
this is some fine fine construction here. I keep coming back to it. its a fantastic funk/house (?) track in its own right but its also a massive honouring of the game. you've used the sounds soo creatively. For many (and myself) the SFX in sm64 are etched into memory. and... all those years ago.. (~20?) I never would have thought I'd hear something so amazing. its like you've woken up a dormant but subconcious part of my existence. the fact that u gave it this metallic mario style in the graphic is perfect as well. I think it'd great that u took something as family friendly and packaged it in something so mature-sounding. it honours the game, Nintendo, and this musical genre. last thing, I can't believe it doesn't have more views than it currently does. --how much do u promote your work?

Funk Fiction no problem man, I think this is gold, and I think if you like something you gotta let it be known. The least I can do is be vocal about it. Are you looking forward to the Sonic Mania stuff? there's one other thing I was gonna link ya but u might be aware already. I'll find a link. its a Japanese guy who I (think) has done music for konami games over the years and is an absolute genius with the 3DS korg software. if u haven't seen it I think you'll like it.

I know this song is old but we had an anime convention here in my state this year and for the closing ceremony, this song was played. Really nice to hear after all this time. 😊
