Jay, you're a great player! This video is a lot better and shows a lot more of the capabilities than the first "official" video. You also answered some of the questions the manual does not focus on. (The manuals are definittely NOT this pedal’s strongest point and they don't do justice to it!) Also, versions 1.06 and 1.07 have fixed some of the bugs/design quirks. I had sidelined the RC10-R because of the lack of response from Boss. Now I see they have, although silently, addressed some of the criticism. Since you are featured in the official video, and I assume you have some significant relationship with Boss, I (and I assume a great part of this pedal's owners) have a request for you. One of the most heard complains about the unit is that you cannot lay down a loop WITHOUT ACCOMPANYING RHYTHM and after recording, selecting a rhythm that takes the length of the loop to set the tempo of the rhythm. The RU-vid video "Issues with the New Boos RC 10 R / shorter video / carlos vamos / review / Boss please fix" by guitarnica clearly shows this. This pedal could be one of the best looper pedals and probably the one with most features for its price, but its design overlooked some very common use cases! I hope they go on with the positive changes!

Very cool. i have a Digitech SDRUM and a Boss RC-3. A little cumbersome to use and not as many features, but it's a lot of fun anyway.

2 questions. Can you record a loop first and then have drums sync to that loop or do you have to start with drums? There are reviews out there saying every drum loop ends in a crash or splash. Is this true? Anything fixed with a firmware upgrade?

This is the best review of the rc10 out there. They’re either ridiculously long or are stupidly basic.

Hello nice tuto😉🙏👍 but i don't find the automatique recording who start when i start to play as in the rc3 i'm use to compose like this I let start the battery and when i'm ready i start but in the RC10r i don't find at all this in the menu. In the syncro it always start to recording before i start and leave me blank space ? Can you help for this ?

Hello, thank you very much for the video, it helped me a lot in the decision to buy the RC-10R. Just a question: Does it have an option to put effects like Reverb and Delay on the instrument that you connect directly to it? Is it possible to put a complete song of about 4 minutes inside it to use during the Show?

Tell me, do rc-5 and rc-500 also play intro, break, coda and change the drum pattern from A to B grint in the chorus (for example)?))

Really nice vid. Great playing, and love your style without pick especially in the leads. One question, I have an RC3 and use an external switch pedal to switch to next loop phrase, so I can have prerecorded progression of a song. can you do this also with the RC10R

I have been looking for hours if this is possible. Can you input IN a guitar and a bass since it has 2 in's? and have the 2 OUT'S go to their respective amp. out 1 to guitar, out 2 to bass. That way i can loop my bass and guitar?!?!?!?!

with the stereo, can you send the looping track to with one channel and have the live signal into a second channel?

did the research....they're 5 PIN DIN midi to 1/8" stereo. Never saw that before....

Hi Jay. I'm really looking to order this but I would like to know if there will be problems with the timing or lagging of the beat to your rhythm or lead looped? Let's say I played the beat, and then put a rhythm loop on it, and then played the whole loop for around 5mins., will I hear my rhythm guitar not synced with the beat? or external beat that I will use? In short, can I play this live with my band? thanks!

My question is can I import a .wav drum track, save it, record 3 layers over it and export those individual layers to PC? Or will all layers end up as one file?

Nice, BUT you should explain before starting that you need to push and hold the RHYTHM button for 2 seconds, than it turns blue from green. NOW it´s in sync mode and than you can start recording just hitting the RHYTHM button again ;) .. of course it´s a great loopwork, thx.

There are lots of problems with Loopers that is not apparent. It can sound very repetitive. It's difficult to come in on the right beat. You constantly hitting buttons with your feet. And the output really should go to two different amps. Because if you put all that stuff together and send it to one mono amp it doesn't sound good. However it is a fine songwriting device. and if you are an excellent musician many of these problems may not bother you much.
