As some guy who plays a bunch of instruments but recently started focusing on playing my own fingerstyle on the bass. i just want to say thank you for giving me great inspiration. I love how you mix chords and percussive/rhythmic mutes together perfectly like no one else. Great job.

Stumbled on this thanks to a forum post that had your vid as an example. Been playing on and off for a good number of years now, but I'm completely self taught. I know it's an unrealistic expectation, but the gap between us feels insurmountable. Even so, you have a tone and style that just speaks to me and is exactly the sort of thing I'd love to develop. This was 6 years ago. I can only imagine where you are today. Thanks for putting together the vid. I may never come close in my lifetime, but it's inspiring.

So awesome! Love your right hand technique. Where's the best place to start to develop such a technique? At the moment I'm just using 2 fingers, have been for years. Should I just start using my thumb and it'll start happening from there? Seriously I'm so baffled, never seen someone play like this!
