Hi Lori, Mama Sue, Owl and Everyone!! We were working on our Jeep and missed the live but this is very helpful to see the funky bow two ways! I will use this bow on my flip flop wreath!!! Thanks!!
Thanks... I have been putting off making a bow for my patriotic wreath bc I never get it right.. Will try this out. Have been concentrating on using the 5 gallon paint sticks to make centerpieces and wreaths...plan on watching this on the living room TV so I can follow you!!
ty ty i have progressive MS and yet i can make these ty ty ty not as good but still pretty good tyvm for posting the video glad i found u in midst of all the videos i saw u made it simple! ty ty ur the best!
Hi Dana! You are so welcome and I’m very sorry to hear you have MS. My prayers are with you and I’m hoping for a miracle. Please take care and thank you so much for your kind words. Lori
You can make it the same way, but you won't be able to shape and form it. It's going to be flat and floppy. It's always best to use wired ribbon on all bows.
Hi there! You can honestly make any of my Bows but the wire is what gives the loops shape. You can stiffen your non wired ribbon with scotch guard and that can help. Just search RU-vid for that to find tutorials. I would highly recommend only using wired ribbon. Thank you for watching, Lori.
New subscriber here also new to wreath and bow making!!! You really break it down and make it easy to understand and not to mention you make it fun!! I'm looking forward to spending lots of time on your channel learning all that I can, lol!! Oh what are those cutters that you used to cut your zip tie? And also is that purple mat on the table called a crafting mat?
Hi Charlotte and welcome to the HWM family. The mat I use is called a Self Healing Cutting Mat and it’s definitely a must have for Wreath Makers. You can cut the Mesh using a Rotary Cutter and it doesn’t damage the mat. I got that from Amazon and will give you the link. The Blue Wire Cutters can be purchased from The Wreath Shop and here’s the link. thewreathshop.com/products/mt1069. Hi Mary! Here is a link for a Football shaped Work Wreath but it’s called a Work Table Form. www.craftoutlet.com/15-work-table-form-white. Thank you, Lori.
Hi Linda and welcome! I go live every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 5pm EST. If you hit the bell icon on my channel then RU-vid will notify you every time I go live. Thank you so much, Lori.
What you did is pretty but I always thought a funky bow was just about individual colors and just all kinds of colors and leftovers and the tales go to the bottom the loops are still on the top I may be wrong but anyway they're still pretty
Hi James! There are different types of Funky Bows and everyone makes it their own. I have seen the ones with the tails on bottom and loops on top and that’s a cool one as well. I’m happy you liked it and thank you for watching, Lori.
hello my name is vanessa i have a question is there any one that knows of a web that is wholesale for ribbon the is not so expensive can some help me please
Hi Vanessa! I purchase my ribbon wholesale from Sims and I sell them on my website. Here is the link. hardworkingmomstore.com/collections/wired-ribboned. Thank you for watching, Lori.
You keep going out of camera shot when you’re putting the bow together so it’s almost impossible to follow along. Please zoom in on the actual bow because all I’m seeing really is that purple Matt.
Hi Kaydee! Unfortunately you wouldn’t be able to see me making the Bow if I zoomed in too much because I have everything spread out on my mat. The only thing you couldn’t see very well was the fluffing part but everything else was on camera. I appreciate your feedback and thank you for watching, Lori.
I have a really great video that has 9 bows all by hand. If you do not have a bow maker you can make one with Styrofoam and a couple dowels too. Thank you, Lori.
