Funky, I am a Christian pastor and totally agree with you. I always say it is my job to preach Jesus, but I don't have a heaven nor a helll to put anyone in. I do not believe only Christians are going to heaven because my God is bigger than that. As a seminary trained preacher, I studied world religions and definitely know we are creations who are on a journey of faith seeking understanding! I never argue religion or politics. Funky, as a follower of Christ myself, I 100% agree with you. The Bible never tells us to be arrogant and dismiss other religions. Even though Jesus said in the book of John that he is the way the truth and the light, he also sat with everyone and loved on everyone and accepted everybody for who they were. As a result, we should do the same as followers of him, so I’ve made it my business to get to know people who are different from me, and I don’t try to convert people , rather I make connections with people because I’m genuinely interested in them and how they live live their lives whether they follow God or not. We can learn from everyone without jeopardizing our stance if you’ve had a true experience with who you claim as your God. There is an arrogance that comes with ignorance when it comes to a lot of the believers in Jesus. People hold onto false doctrines of what they think. The word of God is saying, instead of studying to show themselves approved. That is the problem with the culture of Christianity Rather than the truth of it. So, I definitely appreciate your responses and insights.

I am a proud D9 member and I love Jesus. My sister denounced a sorority several years ago when she went through a super religious phase in life. Interestingly, she now acknowledges that she was overzealous in her religious beliefs and denouncing wasn't necessary. I think she now regrets denouncing, but won't admit it 😆.

I am not a part of the D9 Greek organization, nor have I ever wanted to be, but what I will say about the organization in my state of Kansas is that they do shit for show, but they don’t really be doing nothing for the grassroot levels to help women and children that are homeless are going through domestic abuse. I don’t ever see none of them organization hosting any opportunities for job fairs they do surface level work so they can show off their Greek letter colors and memorabilia and paraphernalia, but don’t do shit
