The doctors note thing, yes Patterrz. That is exactly what bosses want. And in America sometimes you need a doctors note for each day you are gone.

Speaking of the doctor's note thing, when I got COVID last year, I found out that I had it cause I took a home test. I missed a week and a 1/2 of work. And they said that I needed a doctor's note saying I could come back (even though I wasn't testing negative yet) but then they found out that I didn't go to the doctor to get tested, so they 'didn't have any proof' that I actually had COVID in the first place. Like, did you want me to go out and risk infecting other people just so that I'd have this dumbass paperwork that would tell you the exact same thing? 'Murica!

All jokes aside, I recommend the 'accidentally sent to my therapist' video because that shit is now on my 'laughter is medicine' list for best things to watch when sick, along with the entirety of Yu-Gi-Oh Abridged.

Yea the doctors note thing is a big thing here in America because bosses are awful sometimes and dont believe you if you simply say you're sick, they want you to just suffer more apparently lol

Yup, doctors note or you face repercussions for work and school. Some employers force you to use PTO to cover those hours and don't accept any doctor's notes for missed days. Like Walmart.

2:11 had jobs that needed doctors notes. 1 was paper other was email and current is no you don't need it unless asked very weird. Still the assisted living job I had a work injury and they never paid it so like 3 months later I got a hey pay or it's going to collections so I paid and asked work to reimburse me and they replied no you get a refund and we will pay for it and also had a supervisor there that said oh if it's bellow $500 it won't go to collections yet he also said that you don't have to clean up rooms daily for the residents which is very wrong seeing they are old and little mess can make them sick.

in germany you can wait up to 3 days to go to the doctors office, they write you sick in hindsight for 2 workdays.

I was really sick one day, and went to pick up my boss from the airport. On the way to work, I had to pull over to throw up because food poisoning sucks. My boss just told me to go home after dropping him off at the office. No doctors note needed?

In Germany you need a note from if you miss work for more than 2 days, just to prove that you’re not faking your illness…
