Yes, the "hello" was code for "excuse me where the f*ck do you think youre going with that camera. I did not pay you for nothing, now do your job properly you b*tch
steven reed Well I mean if there was an outbreak of something I’d rather British news as American is like this: OH MY GOD THERE IS AN OUTBREAK OF CORONAVIRUS EVERYONES GONNA DIE STAY IN YOUR HOUSE OR YOU WILL BE KILLED!!! Yeah I’d rather British news if it’s something very serious
I'm autistic from England I lost interest in the news first week in. They should do week to week update not day to day this is why I don't listen to news
Yep sounds about right for us 😂😂 honestly the hilarious awkwardness is sooo much funnier than the American news ones who just laugh and... That's all lol
@@ryanford5387 yeah, the thing is. In england everyone does apologise like a million times even when theyre wrong, but we are also really sarcastic so i think we somehow manage to say sorry very sarcastically sometimes. Like everytime an english person apologises, you have to think for a moment whether they are genuinly sorry or are being sarcastic lmao
@@esme4048 The British are chaotic and paradoxical. Its what makes us us. We're the only people who can somehow be extremely pragmatic whilst being incredibly stubborn. Whilst it makes us unpredictable and difficult to manage, we do have a fuckin laugh along the way no matter how bad shit gets.
Yes but everybody would know that just by watching the video from start to finish? When you see 4:19 the first time you would know exactly why he did that
I think the truck shunted the small Ford KA car and then it hit the next car in front. It was the van's fault because he stopped to look at the reporter.
It's usual for cars to pull over when an accident happens to clear the road, like they drive into a carpark or a driveway otherwise people will get annoyed.
1:48 This is one of the best empty chair cuts. It's the little mutter and then exasperated sigh, the complete silence punctuated by foot steps moving across the floor, and the vaguely resigned drop into the chair at the end that makes it.
3:51 for those who aren't from the UK this particular outtake is hilariously ironic as the story they were reporting on was about how the actor/TV presenter Ant McPartlin had been caught drink driving
What was she suppose to do? News become less casual as the day goes on. Morning news you can act a little jokey because everyone is tired and need a pick me up, lunch news you can banter a little with the news guy, 6 o'clock news has the most watchers and is snappy to get all the important news in, 10 o'clock news is very serious as its aimed at the people who watch all the news broadcasts, even just before they go to bed. This news used to be the last thing broadcast on tv so it would literally be the last lifeline to the greater world before 6 the next morning.
I remember watching this as it happened. I couldn't stop laughing. It was funny on its on but the fact they were trying not to laugh in the studio just made it funnier. I do remember thinking it was a good thing I skipped breakfast - visions of milk & cereal being sprayed across the came room came to mind!
@@rsmith6366 they don't push buttons much as such, it's all pre-programmed where they are going to be at what time, and also which camera is going to be live
Hew, bless him, didn't know there was an issue with the broadcast, as this was on the BBC news channel whilst waiting for BBC1 to join the channel for the news at 10. Usually a countdown screen is shown but it all went wrong.
Successful people don't become that way overnight. What most people see at a glance-wealth, a great career, purpose-is the result of hard work and hustle over time.
@@peterbedley2719 People come here with the aim of chasing money more than knowledge and that will damage your progress, trust me. Chase knowledge first and I promise! The money will follow you just like it's following some of us now.
This dude who ran away and came back, probably thought they are showing the chair again and run to it but then realized the camera shows this part.😂 The fear in his eyes is so precious😂
The biggest differences between a British news reporter and an American anchor is that whenever something goes wrong on the British news the reporter will try their hardest to keep a stiff upper lip, they will apologise profusely and try and be as professional and calm as possible. While a American anchor will laugh and make a joke about it to distract the viewers. 😂
I think British reporters do more of an "act" but American's are just themselves and are more entertainment than professional. So when a British reporter breaks you see their human side but American's just laugh
@@_banjato be honest it's just like any other job, like in retail you're supposed to just put your professional and friendly face on even if you're having a bad day so that's what British news reporters do. Personally I don't watch the news for entertainment or to watch someone's personality. I just want someone to tell me the news and get it over and done with.
@@_banja nah it's the other way round. Americans try to be funny but they're not. British reporters are more entertaining and professional. I'm guessing you're american lol
The newsreaders should play the empty chair to their strength. "Good evening. Breaking news, the British Broadcasting Corporation has been the first ever television studio to introduce invisibility into their live news. The service, introduced tonight, is a world's first. Some see it as controversial."
