So because you can't hear music that means you are tone deaf...I am pretty tone hard of hearing msuelf but the main thing you should know is that you should never ever sing in public because you can't tell good from bad singing. Which is great for us cos everything sounds marvelous. Just not great for others around us.
Even though Ariel's introduction was a bitty iffy - she is actually such a great vocalist. I thought it was a great idea to show off the different kinds of singing she could do, and the 'stage door' bit sounded lovely!! I think she was really talented.

Apparently she was found dead in her house with a neck wound. I think people said it was suicide since she had a lot going on mentally? Not 100% sure though so don't come for me

@@psychominded3243 There's a difference between having preferences in who you want to date and then completely denying a person's right to exist. You can not hate fat people for being overweight, doesn't mean you have to date them.

it’s so sad cuz ariel became one of the most memorable moments on british television and the way everyone bullied her was awful:( she had schizophrenia and ended up unaliving herself. if we think back on it the way she was speaking about being a human not a number was actually such a important thing and her singing wasn’t terrible, she was trying to show us all of the singing styles she could use. so sad :(
@@damfhokage4993 I loved her attitude to the untalented egotistical judges. She didn't creep or toady to them like most other sycophants do. And she was actually a really good singer.
Oh that is terribly sad. "Reality" shows are awful for anyone with mental health issues. The rate of people offing themselves after being participants is awful.
It is sad what happened to her, and people should absolutely not have bullied her - HOWEVER, let's not do the mental gymnastics required to say that her audition was good or that she didn't act aggressively and put everyone on the defensive before she'd even started singing. She may have been a good person IRL, but in this audition she performed poorly and rudely.

@Ssilnah I'm pretty sure Ricky Gervais said the same thing, more or less, and people loved it. I guess because he was using humour, but still, you could tell he meant every word.

I bet that chris ramsey wouldn't pick a fat bird in the pub and yet has the nerve to say that he doesn't judge people for being fat. Ariel Burdett was not BAD per se, she was just a hot mess. You can tell her vocal range is quite nice, she has a good tone, and she can hold a note. im not surprised shes a voice coach. Shes just very delusional, rude, and obviously takes everything too seriously, as displayed with her outburst about "being a number"
She once complained about the term Essex Girl in the dictionary...when she's the dictionary definition of it. She doesn't exactly help the image or help change the stereotype.
