Neil Flynn did an incredible job as Glenn Matthews aka the janitor. I am glad that Bill Lawrence kept him as a real exisiting character and not as planned as a fictional character in JD's mind. These moments are just amazing 😂😂😂

@@marleecorrell1486 Yep. In the final episode he reveals it to JD. Then another orderly passes by and calls him Tommy to sow confusion on whether he was being honest or messing with JD one final time. But Bill Lawrence confirmed in a tweet later that the revealed name was in fact the true one.

I used to love the show. I actually did some work in this hospital several times over a few years it’s been closed and mostly used for movie shoots at one point and in one scene you can see a drop tile ceiling behind them with a cracked tile with a little bit missing I did that.

I recently watched all of Scrubs from Start-Finish and I realised, JD is a complete Jerk! I always thought the Janitor was just been unnecessarily mean, but the things JD did to the Janitor was just horrible. The way JD treats Elliot throughout was not very nice at all, and the problem I found with Scrubs is, you're supposed to be rooting for the main character! Great television series and great acting by all those involved. The janitor is easily my favourite character, alongside Dr. Perry Cox (both fantastic actors).

I always felt the bit with the riddle and JD's bike was a bit out of character. The Janitor loved to mess with JD and make his life difficult in many, many ways but this is a different level - he just straight up criminally and maliciously destroys JD's bike because he's angry at being outwitted by a lateral thinking puzzle. Even the many other things he's done to JD which are technically crimes were always done with a comedy angle on the delivery which made it understandable and didn't make you dislike the Janitor. But there wasn't anything funny or deserved about this, it was just a total asshole move for no reason. It's the only time I ever thought the Janitor was just genuinely being a c*nt.

I do love the moments after Season 1 where JD and Janitor pack each other on the back. While I wonder what it would’ve been like if they were actual friends (without the massive pranks), it’s moments that they seem to not mind each other’s company that much is what I love.
