I remember when I was 21 Slipknot had just released the subliminal verses, Kill switch dropped The End of Heartache, P.Roach Getting away with Murder was everywhere. Alter Bridge just released their first album, And Breaking Benjamin We are Not Alone was the cd that stayed in my car player the longest. And crap I'm old, cause I just realized I was 21 in 2005, not 2004. Screw it, im not rewriting all this with bands from 2005. I'm 40, I'm grumpy, my sciatic hurts. And GET OFF MY DAMN LAWN!

To me the joke was that the tab is "the odd bar" from Master of Puppets. There are songs out there that you actually cannot count, but that meme is just a 5/8 as played by Lars.

The screamo one near the end is very accurate. Take anyone who doesn't really ever listen to music with harsh vocals, play them something with harsh vocals, and they will call it screamo. Doesn't matter how the rest of the music around it is, as soon as they hear the harsh they go "It's screamo."

Yo Nik, completely unrelated to metal memes, but, was watching your Drop C breakdowns vid from a couple years ago and it reminded me of a breakdown i think you'd like. Code Phantom by Princewhateverer. A heavy metal brony artist i listen to. The lead up is at one minute fifty seconds in, the breakdown starts at two minutes exactly. Its about 20 seconds long definitely bangs. Theres also a second one later in the song thats just as heavy. Would love to see your reaction to it, love your content and your videos never fail to make me smile. 🤘

That makes me want to know what bands had their best album be their 3rd album, first one I can think of is Godsmack, their 3rd album Faceless is imo their best. P.O.D’s best album was their 3rd with Southtown. Those are the only two I can think of right now.
