GHhost I saw this live, and he was definitely going for the doomguard surviving the brawl and then using faceless (he said this right before making the decision to brawl). When he lost, he stopped to think for a moment on whether or not he got lethal, and when he realized that he did, he said "wow i got punished very hard".
Lethal : 1) take super colider and atack the left dreney ! 2) slime 3/3 finish off the central dreney ! 3) faceless manipulator to copy the guardian of horror with 6 attacks and pierce the face of the warlock from 6 hp !
4:43 for those which missed it: 1. Supercollider the leftmost Saronite Chain Gang. This guarantees it to hit the other Chain Gang, and will kill the one you hit for sure. 2. Run your Ooze into the other Chain Gang. This will kill them both, and leave the board with only a 6/8 Doomguard. 3. Faceless the Doomguard, giving you a 6/8 Charge. Go face for the win.
Catherine Whittaker Not sure if this needed further clarification... Thijs just makes some dumb plays here and there but I think the average player would have gotten this right. I genuinely hope I‘m correct lol.
generalthl If the Doomguard became a 6/5, you missed lethal because you hit the center Chain Gang with the Supercollider and missed the 50/50. So the second Chain Gang is still alive, and all you can do is deal 3 damage to face. Remember: Supercollider causes the minion to attack ONE of its adjacent minions, at random if there's one on either side. Not both.
Thijs lethal: Gluttonous Ooze attacks the center Saronite Chain Gang. Super Collider attack the left Saronite Chain Gang, which kills off itself and the center one. Faceless Manipulator on Doomguard, attacks face for lethal.
When you play odd warrior you go for the safe super collider hits, just as you use dyn-o-matic when your enemy's non-mech minions have a total of 5 or less hp.
that was the simplest spot the lethal challenge this channel has ever done and it's the first time the player failed to notice omegalul. Thijs is legit stupid.
Man, took me so long to figure out the Thijs one - never played with Collider before, and basically discarded all thought of it because of how bad it usually is. Thought it was just dealing 3 damage to the minion next to the one you attack - not actually forcing that minion to do the attacking. Makes all the difference in the world. XD
Purple is soooo godd at hearthstone, what a god .... the way he played ...it really is THE best esport. what a fantastic display of skill, brilliant. Also the way that guy got devilsaur into king krush was very well played.
Albert Fish most people would indeed not be able to play frothing on turn 3, because most people wouldn’t run frothing in their odd warrior. Purple recognized that odd warrior is a deck with very polarized match ups which can be target quite easily, so he teched against the bad match ups, which is why he deserved to win
I usually pay very little attention to 'find lethal' or 'solve the puzzle' clips cuz I'm ultimately bad and quit playing HS more than half year ago only logging in for brawl/challenge runs time to time but this one was quite obvious.I felt bamboozled when he played Brawl and though that doomguard would survive it, thus giving him the opportunity to proceed with copy-go face part of the lethal but then I felt bamboozled again.

Ladt clip what are the odds of that? As unlikely as getting any other three 6 mana minions. Theres only one of each minion, three abominations just seem 'special' to us.

In the canada vs portugal match, what the hell was the portugal dude doing? He could've cleared the Berserker by playing Sonya and then 2x southsea at turn 4. Even the commentators said "there's no way for him to clear that berserker". Instead he used dagger and cleared 1 mob to bolster the berserker even more? He could've done the Sonya+southsea combo and then coin dagger if he wanted. Top players btw
For a moment, I thought Thijs would finally surprise me and think like a decent player. But nope, not gonna happen, never a pro. Attack with ooze the middle taunt, equip the weapon and attack the undamaged taunt. Both kill eachother, faceless the Doomguard and easy kill. Hell, you don't even need to think more than like ten seconds to see it...
For those who missed the Thijs leathal at 4:48 Super collider left chain gang. Deals 1 damage and will die with collision with other chain gang. Ooze will deal 3 damage to the chain gang in the middle who will be on 1hp. Then faceless the Doomguard for a 6 damage charge to face.
"What's the odds of that?!" If im not wrong, there are 51 neutral 5-cost cards and 3 shaman 5-cost cards, that give ( 1 / 54 )^3 = 0.0006% = 1 / 157 465 chance.. God damn

@@izaruburs9389 To get 3 abominations and abominations only, sure, but it could've been any other 5 drop and it probably would've made it to the video. Odds of getting the same card three times in a row is (1/number of all possibilities)^2 and the odds of getting a specific card three times in a row is (1/number of all possibilities)^3.
