People that say that hs is not competitive are just bad at the game, the end is part of the skill, you need to calculate the effects and try to guess what the guy got

@@panizzuttilifts138 Exactly, the top decks of the game right now are Quest Druids, Control Warrior and Shamans. Druids and Warrior have minimal luck involved cuz they always strive to draw through the whole deck and the decks have no random eff cards. Even Shamans have only the Evolve archetype is RNG based, Quest and Aggro have no luck involved at all. Random effs are RNG, but pulling lackeys from known pool are calculated risk

Hearthstone is 70% luck and 30% skill on most decks excluding combo stuff like priest, when you get to this high level of a tournament it doesn't matter 'how well you play' all that matters is who draws better; yes it matters who plays their hand better, but whoever draws better wins most of the time.

@@ahmetgrcn2663 Every meta deck has over 50% winrate even if you're bad, with enough games, anybody can get to legend. All it takes is time and good matchups rather than skillif you're just playing degenerate no skill aggro decks like murloc shaman

Not really, when the game came out it was all about what did the ragna hit, what did the sylvanas steal, and whether or not priest drew the combo or the board clear. By the time GvG came out, the game was pretty much exactly like it is now

So many people complaining about how this game revolves too much around RNG. It's been five and a half years since Hearthstone was released, and five years since Firebat won the first Hearthstone championship. It was RNG-based then, and it's RNG-based now. Why keep following such a game if you're going to complain about the same damned thing?

horrible format in group stage IMO. Bo3 shield conques with curren Shaman and Priest was almost Bo1. Horrible from competitor perspective.
