If I might add to this Corazon roguishly disengaged (weak I know but I'm using my better one for Egbert later), Binbag's a mage who has thoroughly aged while Egbert's presence is now banned from all stage. All of this post honeymoon now Dob's turning the page. Much like the time Egbert threw a bomb in a church, how much trouble comes next is impossible to gauge. Will it compare to the dragon that's free from it's cage?

She's quite talented at acting drunk, but my favorite Ellen Oxventure bit was when she got to be Corazon. Not only did I love everything she said during that adventure, but she appeared to really love it. She had a lot of fun with the role.

I had a similar thought. I was thinking, "Ways the Oxventurers Stunned or Nearly Broke the DM." One moment was Merilwen's Windwall spell customized into a Firewall spell and took out the guards. Johnny's reaction was priceless. I wonder if Johnny was thinking, "how did you...!?" I also binge-watched most of the Oxventures before, during, and after the Orbpocalyse Saga last month and noticed many more times that's occurred. I'd watch it.

Everything involving the True Heroes of Geth is absolutely top-notch. Impossible to stop laughing at the group's petty antics. Drunk Merilwen is gut-busting too! Also, considering most NPCs only refer to the group as "who are you people?", having one greet each of them by name with a smiling face is a *major* red flag.

I forgot all about the "breaded man-shapes". Maybe 'repressed' is more accurate than merely 'forgot'. I also somehow forgot the brine-and-vinegar-soaked power-move of Prudence chugging an entire jar of capers, too. I guess there were just so many big hits being doled out during the double dinner ruse that it was hard to keep track of them all. But the Katie angst and drama, though? Utterly unforgettable. That was masterfully played by everyone at the table, and I can scarcely wait to see how it unfolds next.

Thanks for pulling this together for us! It was great to revisit this rich, well conceived and well executed story arch. All of the guild members were terrific. Wow, it is nice to be reminded that Johnny was truly outstanding with their leadership and character work especially making Katie so endearing and suspect at the same time, then pulling off both antagonist roles so beautifully in the final dinner scene. Bravo to all!

It was an erroneous interpretation of the rules though. The damage is done to anything within the area of the wall, not anything encircled by it.

@@Fraxxxi yes but isn't that the fun of dnd is to not completely go by the rules they are nothing more than guidelines anyway any good dm will add their own interpretation of the rules for their and the players fun I mean heck a great example is crit rules its supposed to just be double but some people max the hit dye and roll again not having solid rules makes the game fun imo

I know this is two months old but I’d like to clarify that what Merilwen did was actually legal. Everybody always forgets the second paragraph of Wall of Fire that states “One side of the wall, selected by you when you cast this spell, deals 5d8 fire damage to each creature that ends its turn within 10 feet of that side or inside the wall.” So what happened is that Merilwen encircled the zombies and selected the interior side of the wall to deal damage. If they used a physical map then you can get into arguments about how many were outside of that range and if some weren’t how to shape the wall so they were but they don’t so a theater of the mind ruling that all zombies were effected is one that is perfectly reasonable.

@@shadowedpokefan331 Druids in general are rather op. The fact that they have access to their entire spell list instead of just picking and choosing which spells to obtain during level up is a significant boon. Combined with their plentiful spell slots and you get a magic user that is both incredibly useful outside of combat as well as in combat. Also I think it being legal actually makes it cooler since if you just ignore rules you kind of dilute the impressiveness of the attack.

I really love the friendship between all the character. This video did a really great job of showing us how the group has changed and gotten stronger as friends through all the mayhem.. Its just so lovely to see how you all bounce off eachother and I think it is because you were friends first but ether way this campaign was amazing. Johnny is one hell of a creative dm. I cant wait to see what else you do in the new year ♡ Also this video made it even more obvious that Prudence and Merilwen are meant for eachother ♡

I tried watching a random episode which wasn't part of the campaigns before and wasn't interested at all, restarted at campaign 1 the other day and it's better. But yeah not as funny or charming, and possibly 8 adventurers is too many?

Yeah, and my main observation between Johnny and Mercer is that Johnny feels like part of the group while Mercer very much has a friendly teacher vibe about the way he does things. But yeah, 40 hours in to CR, and OX like I said more fun and charming, I'm still enjoying it though.

First off, I adore the humorous recap... but also, does anyone else watch these with subtitles on? They NEVER get Merilwen's name right and some of the mistakes are absolutely hilarious in their own right!
