Nah. Force Unleashed made it pretty clear that you were supposed to head towards the lightning thing going on. It's pretty linear in that regard but yeah. Also side note, wrong canon. Force Unleashed doesn't take place in the same canon as Ahsoka Tano and Cal Kestis or pretty much most of the characters you mentioned there. In both instances a large number of Jedi were killed in Order 66, an incredibly high number for that matter.... but the idea of that many listed surviving isn't out of the question by a longshot.
Quick thuoght on the Tomb Raider one... Lara shoots her guns about two dozen times, and then dispatches the wolves in a single bullet... Are we certain the WOLVES are the ones who killed her guide ?
To the System Shock spiritual successors, you'd also have to add Dead Space, which was basically just System Shock 2, but IN SPACE! (and without the insane computer). Which spawned its own sequels.
As someone else pointed out, Deadly Premonition is "unintentionally hilarious moment: the game" so. . .I am unreasonably delighted by those defective Boiler Aliens, though.
In Paper Mario: Color Splash (Spoilers ahead), the enemies and bosses HP bar is their bodies. In the game, paint or colour is all the bodily liquids that keep you alive. The less color they show, the lower their HP is. BONUS: Huey (one of the main characters and Mario’s companion throughout the whole game) actually has a HP system. In the final boss, Huey turns back into his 3D paint can form and he loses HP as Bowser (the final boss) releases his attacks of black paint onto the player. Huey says he can withstand at least 10 of those attacks and the more you block Bowser’s attacks, the more banged up Huey looks. Not so fun fact: Huey can die in the final boss. I never played this game and I’m too lazy to do further research so correct me if I’m wrong
Never knew Black Mesa was a fan remake. Happy balls. Makes me think of more BFD, though it should be other way around... "balls of brass, polished to the N'th degree." Blam! Still makes me wince.
As if all the masked guardians of Majora's Mask weren't obfuscated blunders, to make an understated observation. I still wonder if Grezzo didn't intentionally louse the job. I actually and honestly believe they did.
Also, suggestive of a similarly named and infamous Doom wad, which I'm not sure is not just a coincidence as well as the meaning of the term itself, "rough"--and I'm still wondering if the dev had hands in both--I think the whole push was a giant load.
Actually, regarding space adventuring, killer space suckoids, bathing... I always wondered how ripe it must get in that bloody suit. And ftr, space suckoids kinda = space vamps, but not so sexy.
The next Bioshock is also very much in development hell, and the live action adaptation is in production hell, news come out every year but nothing definitive, it's safe to assume the franchise is dead.
theres one or 2 or three major ones your forgetting. Clone Hero and YARG and Fortnite Festival. Clone Hero and YARG where both community made Guitar Hero and Rock Band Fan Games which some consider to be even better then some of the old guitar hero games in terms of features and yarg is known for having alot more features as well which both games supporting the Old Guitar Controllers and Supporting things such as modded Arduino guitars, as well as Real Drum EKits for pro drums and YARG supports 5 lane drums and Vocals and Clone hero and YARG Both have custom chart support with Clone Hero having easy charting methods for making charts in game also Clone Hero and YARG Both have had all the guitar hero and rock band game songs ported to both games available on the official clone hero/yarg spreadsheet setlist or chorus for clone hero and yarg. Then theres also Fortnite Festival which is more recent and kinda shows activision that a modern gutiar hero/rock band game not made by the community can still work in 2024 since Fortnite festival is good for casuals and has proven to activision that it is possible to make a rock band or guitar hero game in 2023/2024 without it failing cause of community supported entirely free ones like clone hero and yarg existing. i would have also said world tour definitive edition but thats a mod and not a actual game and its basically just as the name implies a definitive edition of guitar hero world tour with mod support for custom player models, venues, guitars, songs and more and all the player models and guitars and venues from all the other guitar hero games like 5 and 3 and warriors of rock and 2 and Metallica all being ported into the game, it also allows for you to map any of the old guitars to it (this is so players wont have to just use a 360 xplorer wired pc guitar hero guitar or the ps3 world tour guitar that where bundled in with guitar hero 3 and world tours lesser known pc versions)
Every youtuber cameo sucks lol. Even if i dont recognize them, their acting is leaps and bounds worse than everyone else so it sticks out like a sore thumb
I don't have arachnophobia, but I am terrified of clowns so I understand the feeling of wanting to go see/play something, only for it to have your worst nightmare in it. She's better than me cause I wouldn't have even participated lol
Did you know that, in Little Nightmares, when the first of the gluttons spots you and he throws the table out of his way, that it's possible to get killed by the table slamming against the wall? Well, it is. And it's even more hilarious if it gets you without you knowing that.
He's not gone... But it's been my pleasure following Luke's and the rest of the gang's Oxventures and Video Game Adventures since I first discovered RU-vid 9 -11 years ago... I have continued on with both Outside Xbox channels, as well as joining Luke's channel... And now there's Oxventures that I'm watching from the beginning with the D&D Adventures... Better Late than never tho I guess.. But I'm completely hooked on that Multi-Season show 😂
This reminds me if the massive golem in the Grymforge in BG3 - completely immune unless it is standing in the lava, which happens to be in the forge where it fights you, and oh yeah, a GIANT hammer that can flatten it in a couple if hits
