This is actually genius and great character development, often bordering on ridiculous but it is entertainment. He was Mr McMahon with his hair, then he had his head shaved and got the bowlers hat and became vulnerable, then he got his durag and let it completely define who he is. I'm sure we've all at some point changed our character temporarily to reflect a different style from listening to music, change of clothing.
