Not so funny when we examine the suffering and misery in the Middle East today. Before the Bush authorized invasion of Iraq, Sunnis and Shiites lived as neighbors just as Protestants and Catholics do in the rest of the world.

An agreement had been made by Bush Administration to pull our troops and when that day got closer, the GOP and the American people demanded that it happened. No that was and still is Saudi Arabia, meaning they are still perpetuating wars in the Middle East and are now doing their damndest to shift the blame to Iran without an ounce of proof to back it up, because they have failed to stop Hauti (spelling?, sorry) in Yemen. All they've managed to do in that country is decimate the local population in the most horrific ways with the help of the USA, the UK, & I just found Sweden is doing the same. It is absolutely appalling what is happening to the people in Yemen. A Blue Whale It most likely is the real life audience from David Letterman's show. The show had a "greatest presidential speech" segment most nights where they played a significant or iconic line from the speech of past presidents then the next clip would play Bush's "bushisms" .

Another great president with comedic anecdotes was President Reagan. The humor Presidents Reagan and George W. Bush provided us during their time in office was exactly what we needed, even during times of crisis. It would be nice to have another President like them again rather than rather than a President that splits the American population into groups fighting against each other. Maybe that's an unrealistic dream I have, but I certainly hope not.
There's no doubt in my mind, not one doubt in my mind, that we will fail. It will take time to restore chaos. The illiteracy level of our children are appalling.
