that's a thai commercial for ya, either the funniest crap you've ever seen or the saddest masterpiece you'll never forget (pro hint: usually cinematic ones are very hard to guess what they're advertising until they reveal it at the end)
I think that the termite spray ad is a success. It is difficult to explain how the spray kills termites in words and sentences. A video making use of cartoon characters does a magic for this purpose.
I was so invested in the story of the first 2 minutes that i forgot it was a commercial... The god damn commercial with the father and daughter destroyed me...something so short told a compelling story In what was basically a bullet point presentation. These commercials are too good.
I'm usually sympathetic to the frugal lifestyle. But I've got to side up with the son in this instance, because the poor guy was definitely WAY overdue for a new school uniform!😮
Man the last one hit me right in the heart .. I was waiting for something funny to happen, only to wind up crying my man eyes out .. if that were a movie I would watch the whole thing .. I have a daughter and 2 boys when I get out of work today I’m rushing home to hug them and make great memories for them .. I guess I’ll kiss my wife too lol .. stay healthy and love everyone
Oh my God! I’m getting the chendrite foam even if I don’t need it what a blockbuster Oscar worthy 😂😂😂😂 I was so invested 😂😂😂😂also moving my banking there 😂😂
Dude all I read was funny commercials so that whole sad advert I was waiting for a punchline while my heart was silently breaking , I only noticed the inspirational part afterwards
What was the last ad even for? Like do people in Thailand get ads that tell them about normal stuff like bug spray and insurance, but then also ones about loving each other while you can?
I'm Thai. Last Commercial is form true corporation which is a telecommunications company. So the commercial has nothing to do with their products. And i don't know what message they want to send here.
This is why I have always made a distinction between an ad and a commercial an ad just tells you "here is shit, buy it." a proper commercial earns your attention
see if our commercials were like this, instead of the lack of effort liberty mutual ones, i wouldn't skip. I would want to know the outcome. thai commercials just go all in.
I do not know if there are similar systems in other countries, but in my country (Korea), we have a set of ads called 'advertisements for public interests' that spreads a message about public morality or humanitarian values. If that's the case here, it isn't odd to have such a long ads since the advsrtiser might be the government itself.
@@ignisilluminatithat is kinda cool ngl. The problem in my country (Italy) could well be that someone may find it offensive and even oppressive if the government made ads like that lol hell i bet someone would cry about an ad about a kitten being fed depending on the government in charge😂 i love democracy
@@_d-- I totally understand your point since some people here also show similar response to those 'public ads'. Acutally, most people in my generation (I'm in late 20s) also regard them as slightly outdated and puerile. However, there are cultural and historical faces behind this. In Asia, it has commonly been regarded as a duty of a nation to educate and guide its people to a correct way. Maybe this is a result of Confucian influences plus bureaucratic system which were developed at least several centuries faster in Asia compared to that were in Europe. Also, since Asia was relatively late-follower in the history of modernization, we had to achieve social reform in a short period of time. Thus, most Asian countries share the common memory of leading intellectuals and government officers "enlightening" the public within a short period of time. I'm not sure about the other cases, but I think at least 4 east Asian countries - Korea, Japan, China, and Taiwan - and some southeast Asian countries such as Singapore have similar historical experience and thus share the relevant system inherited to these days.
Normally, we will get 10-15s edited version of the ads on TV but if ppl are interested, we can search for full version online. This would lead to viral marketing by ppl sharing ad vids around
