This video is actually priceless. It reveals so much about the Jack Russell terrier. It shows how the mom is training these pups to be quick, tactical, and agile because they’re bred to hunt and chase. But mainly it shows how focused and captivated these pups are at such a young age. They are completely absorbed in this lesson from their mother and quickly learning the ins and outs of the tenacious dna they’re made of. Brilliant dogs. One of the smartest animals on the planet.
but it's their Mama, she brought them to live and they need milk? I remember my mother's milk when I was a little, now I'm about to go conguer the world because I know I can
My jack russel got stolen last year, he was the best dog I ever had, this reminds me of him, he was so playful. Wherever he is I just hope he is happy.
there is no pet quite like the jack russell terrier. they have the energy of a particularly chaotic toddler, and yet more strength, speed, and intelligence than a toddler should ever have. my doggo is like 10-13 years old and she still easily ramps up to that mom’s level. it’s amazing
I love Jack Russells. We are on our 2nd Jack. Thankfully we have lots of room for our dogs to play and dig and hunt. Our Jack's have been healthy happy dogs. It's a great breed if they are kept busy and loved.
the mother is too young to handle the situation, she is young and confused, that's when human interaction and intervention is needed to calm down the babies
Sounds corny but this video made me smile because it reminded me of how as a single mom, i kept my 4 sons laughing and enjoying life no matter what. They have taken that lesson into their adult years now. Life is but a Dream 💜
Perfect epitomizing example of the JR's through-the-roof energy. Never seen a dog that just has no quit or off switch like the Jack Russell. Gave birth, still has her mommy tummy, and it doesn't matter. She's still bouncing around, sprinting like she has 36 Energizer batteries in her. That's the Jack Russell Terrier.
I have one his name is Marmaduke he's slightly bigger than you would expect, and he's just done a ten mile walk with my dad ,and as for rats ,they are not alive for long !!!!!!😁🇬🇧
@Ardent Fan Yes that's true, was in New Zealand in 2007, George 9, the jack Russell saved 5 children by intervening, but sadly the 2 pit bulls ripped him apart very badly and he was put down.
For 15 years I had a couple of Jack Russells......they are soulful and will love you even beyond the grave...I felt mine put his head down on my ankle like he would do with my feet up on the couch in the evening...a day after he had to be put down. You get a lot of bang for your buck with these dogs but you had better be ready to be outsmarted and tricked....they are brilliant. Mine kept me laughing right up until the end. It is easier on you if you have two. They get into their play fight routine every day and it is great for exercise.
Still think of Bud daily, been almost 10 years he died aged 26 months. Thers a few videos on here i uploaded. If it wasnt for Bud i wouldnt have had another dog but gave me the best 12 months of my life, we were one.
There are ancient mystic philosophies that state the world is full of such cute attractions to enamour, engage and bind the soul on this prison planet.
I call this playing and bonding with her babies. Not many dogs etc get a chance to do this with their little ones since they are gone from mom usually at 6 weeks. Very special to see this and TFS. It put a smile and laughter in my heart. TY
The two face one seems to be the more wise of them all. He doesn't waste too much energy chasing her back and forth. It looked like it was trying to figure out a way to get on the couch at times. Also the less noisy of the the four. Quality video.
JRTs have boundless energy. Dino, my JRT, used to terrorize the wild dogs, cats and monitor lizards at my resort. He died at a ripe old age of 16+ years. Loved him till the end.
Rest In Peace Dino. My Cody passed a few months ago at the age of 13. He was diagnosed with addisons when he was 7. Even with that he went like a little fireball all the way to the end. 😢
Nothing typifies the adorable, playful "fightiness" of the terriers in the Fox, Rat, and Jack Russell families better than this little morning "play" session. Our terriers have always done this same thing, like no other breed we've owned. Our poodles have always kindly put up with it, even playing along of necessity, with much eye-rolling along the way. This exercise may be why these branches of the terrier breed are so long-lived, and tend to stay pretty fit as well. These families of terrier were all bred to relentlessly pursue vermin, or small game---even into the ground, and to kill it. Nowadays, they're quite happy to get their little "grrrr" on with these home MMA sessions. Mommy is teaching them to be good terriers. Gotta love the one with the circle eye patch and swoosh over the other brow---he's the limit.
never seen a momma so playful with her puppies. usually momma's look worn out, comatose, and ornery from the rigors of simply keeping up with the feeding. guess that's where jack russell terrier energy kicks all ass in this category!
Jack Russell Terriers are the most ADHD breed on the face of the Earth. I have one. When he was younger, he was hyper, fast, and CRAZY. But now he's an old mutt who probably has about 3-4 more years on him before he goes. But I'll never forget how batshit crazy he was as a puppy dog.
My vet used to run a "puppy pre school" basic obedience class, he always finished the sessions with a freestyle romp so the pups would learn socialization skills. For safety sake he kept he large breeds separate from the small ones EXCEPT for the Jack Russells which he put in with the big dogs as they were too rough to play with pups their own size.
I have a 1 year old male miniature Jack Russell he sleeps five hours a day and rest of the day he just play and run and I just look at him like a crazy person because I don't know what shall I do he make me happy and so tired same time honestly they are the best dog in Planet
Farokh Persian a mental work out for your dog will help and alot of walking they are hunting dogs you need to chanle there energy before they tear up your house i find that bike drouring works and getting a scooter they can pull
My Jack Russell is also full of energy, when she gets excited she jumps extra dramatically or with extra oemf through the sky, she runs in a 8 form, she flies from couch to couch in the living room, she always bark and love to back chat, she looses her shit when I have a ball or throw her favorite stuffed toy at her... these dogs are super energetic but oh boy are the loyal ❤
I'm early retired and I live with 3 "pudding" Jacks, they are craziest bunch of dogs that I have ever loved. They do not have an off button. Between the constant snaps at each other and their loud incessantly barking, people are always asking how can I take all of the noise. You actually don't hear it after a while. Either they have blended in with the normal noise or I've lost my hearing. With a Jack, every day is new.
I've had 3 jack russells. They do have an off switch if you have a set of stairs and teach them to chase a laser pointer. 10 trips up and down and they are ready for some water and a nap
THIS SCENE BROUGHT ME memories of my beloved ´´krypto´´, a jack russell terrier with enough energy to light a small city by night... i found him at the side of the road and he just came to me running, as if we already knew each other, so i just opened my car´s door an he jumped in, it was fate , i guess... my mom loved him so much, he wore out our other dogs, so they played with him righ up until they fell asleep but luckily he had another 4 dogs to play with, so fun was endless for him... he lived for another 10 years and left a bunch of puppies with neighbors´ females, all of them with same endless energy... we miss him so much, even 8 years after he died...
This is such a joy to watch. You realise how strong family bonds are for both dogs and humans, no different. This is fascinating to see, and to watch them learning from her. Thank you for uploading this, it’s pretty special.
