they do know that it is not an easy job....they just fuel the aggro to make you lose your temper....there are warped people out there who do not want to enjoy your job
As a London bus driver myself, I can tell you it is the easiest job I've ever done. No stress, no aggro from anybody. Do I check passes? NO Do I care if anyone doesn't want to pay their fare? BIG FAT NO!!! Do I take any abuse personally? NO Do I forget an occurence after 10 mins? I forget everything that happened after 2 mins.
I said too a bus driver "on april fools we should have the most unusasual alocations" and he said "and also a bowl of tuna on all the windshields" my friend who was next to me laughed more harder than the amount of times have died in video games
There's a certain number of people who deliberately press the bell late to aggravate the driver.....if the passenger starts on me....I just say,I prefer not to discuss it.
It just epitomises all that is wrong with the bus operations in London since politicians destroyed London Transport. Such attitudes and behaviour would have been unheard of 40 years ago.
I'm not personally so sure, listening to my grandma when she talks about some of the drivers she used to have compared to the drivers I get and see around myself now, I feel quite lucky That is to say, I think this grumpy dude is an exception 😂👌
Public should be respectful to drivers as they simply have the publics lives in their hands. stressing drivers out, and then they have to do a route that involves so much concentration with traffic, stopping for passengers and picking up, making the correct turns and performing the turns correctly. And all this 7-10 hours a day sometimes 8 days in a row.
