Yeah, Placebo were, as always, unfailingly polite. Brian is patient and even teased them some. He helped them with their juvenile, stupid,rude and blunt questions. How many stars would've put up with it? He's had every name screamed at him-so they can't embarrass him. He's true to himself~something way beyond those guys. He made it fun to watch. Love him.
i absolutely love how brian spoke in these interviews. he kicked their ass. he looks really hot here as well. those interiviewers werent professional with their questions
OMG! I don't even know what to say. I thought though that the Placebo boys handled themselves quite well through this mess of an interview. I did laugh a lot. I remember Brian saying in an interview that they did love the crowds at the concerts in Mexico. The people screamed like crazy! :-)
¡Venga no se enojen tanto! Ya existen muchas entrevistas con mucha información sobre ellos que también hay otra entrevista que hizo Claudio Rodriguez del mismo canal, que es muy buena. Debemos admitir que esta es muuuy graciosa, no se lo tomen apecho, si los entrevistadores son muy pendejos, pero se mira que también los chicos se estaban divirtiendo con lo que decían, tómenlo con humor. Después de todo no vas a poder viajar al pasado para impedir esto y hacer que hagan buenas preguntas xDDD

Sin embargo, desde mi punto de vista, no tiene nada de divertido, es algo más bien humillante y una demostración absoluta de estupidez e ignorancia y respecto a que los chicos se divertían, lo dudo... A mi parecer, estaban bastante tediosos al tratar con dos simios. No hay excusas para este comportamiento tan inadecuado, que lamentablemente refleja el machismo y la ignorancia en el país. Con todo respeto a tu comentario.

Yep, I'm mexican and I'm so disappointed about this interview, but I love Placebo, for me, this is awesome! How the band defend their ideas! I think is just a dumb interview, with a GREAT BAND.

They didn't get fired after this. Because they did their job in this interview like they were supossed to. Basically, that was the kind of show they had back then, the channel had them interview international celebrities to bother them and make them unconfortable. At 0:38 they mention that Jon Bon Jovi visited weeks before, and the guy on the top right says "The last things we did was fucking Jon Bon Jovi". They got fired quite some time after though, for other reasons.
El tema de la sexualidad por placer es uno muy bonito pero hay que filosofar mucho. Este no es el lugar para ese tema. Si no quieres seguir ese orden natural atente a las consecuencias -volvemos a la transformación-. yeah, I really think Brian handled it well actually, the interviewers were really 'in your face', and at some points weren't being all that pleasant really. I know If I was in Brian's shoes I would have become increasingly pissed off.
I'm getting tired of the first approach many people have to this collection of interviews by Videgaray and Estaca to Placebo. I mean, at the start things really seem strained, like they're going to fight at some point. But once they get into topic they all had fun. Placebo (most likely Brian, the others don't participate to much) got the hang of the interviewers and had fun with it. I had fun watching it and that's it. I don't understand why this brings up the fucking culture clash. Grow up.
I just can´t attack people because they thinks different to me. There is a lot of beautiful persons with a very different point of view to the same case, and that´s wonderful, because if we share it our personal point of view will be richer more and more. Greetings :)
What a great interview by the two Mexican guys. The guys from placebo behaved quite arrogantly but the Mexican interviewers retaliated by making fun of them in an elegant subtle way without the Placebo guys noticing it. It's obvious they were caught off guard by the quick thinking interviewers. I laughed a lot.
I understand that you people are concerned about the way they interviewed placebo, but Thats the way we mexicans are, we like to bother each other all the time and its very funny, If you were mexican you would know what Im talking about,, for me this was a very funny interview, they always interview the bands that way.. They dont have any respect for anybody and THATS FUNNY.
he said it's an issue, specially in certain countries, which doesnt mean he is generalizing, but that matters like culture and the environment influence on people specially if they are too lazy or coward to think.

Oh, gracias por el dato, el libro donde lo leí es uno de patología que encontré en la biblioteca de mi padre hace años buscando enfermedades venereas, pero muy viejo, talvez por ello lo encontré de esa manera. De todas formas buscaré datos al respecto, lamento ser tan detestablemente escéptico. Sin embargo me sigue pareciendo insano, lo mismo con los otros ejemplos que mencionaste.

Unos son porque se sentían solos y un amigo gay se les acercó y entendieron que el amor se da sin importar sexos. Notemos que el factor "soledad" afecta; una persona sin amistad que recibe una relación fraternal repentina dada por una persona del mismo sexo puede llegar a confundir esa relación amistosa con atracción (lo mismo que sucede regularmente con personas de diferente sexo) y más aún si la mano amiga es una mano gay. Esta fue la mía y de muchos otros.
La verdad no entiendo porque tiene que llegar a riña esto, es sólo mi parecer bajo mi criterio. En dado caso un debate no estaría nada mal, llevo tiempo sin entrar en uno.

Hace tres años hice un trabajo al respecto, inspirado por mis primeros sentimientos bisexuales (así es, no me apeno al decirlo). Las emociones que antes se tenían al ver a una mujer se trasladan hacía el mismo sexo, pero ¿por qué?
Existen desviaciones hormonales, pero estas no conducen a una persona a modificar su orientación sexual, solo producen amaneramientos (por los que suele haber burlas que crean confusión interior respecto al tema ya tan mencionado). Una persona no nace gay, lesbiana o bi; se transforma con el tiempo. Nada tiene que ver con la identidad original de la misma, y no estamos hablando de penetración si no de pensamiento.

Preguntémosle a los gay/bi y notaremos que el trasfondo es el mismo. Está el caso de los que se preguntan el por qué a un hombre le deben gustar las mujeres y no tratan de responderse, prosiguiendo por unirse a la bandera de la gama espectral. Otro caso es el de los que por curiosidad tuvieron alguna relación sexual y les gustó. Como dije antes es antinatural.
Lamento si ofendí a alguien con mi comentario, pero me parece que fué mal entendido. Los gay me caen bien, tengo bastantes amigos gay y bi y no por serlo los dejo de tratar como personas, sin embargo no estoy de acuerdo con lo que practican (lo mismo como si fueran consumidores compulsivos o sencillamente tuvieran un hábito con el que no concuerdo) y nada más que eso. Se respetan.

Lo que tú describes como tiempo es lo que yo manifesté como transformación (odiaría usar algo tan inexistente como el tiempo en un tema tan eterno) precisamente de identidad. Las especies que mencionas son irracionales (no digo que no piensen, digo que no razonan) y como supuestamente está en nuestra naturaleza el razonar, hablamos de naturalezas distintas.
