What you're saying is positive and good, but a chemical imbalance in the brain cannot be overcome simply with positive thinking. It's a cold truth. it literally is. the reason you see it as ridiculous is because you are trying compare it to actual attire. This is costume. Nowadays something like cosplay is more understood. When you see someone wearing a cosplay you dont think they dress like that every day. This is the same concept.

These fashions would be known as *Avant Garde* , and would basically be wearable art just to look at during exclusive fashion shows, and like what celebrities wear to the Met Gala. They're not to be worn as regular or average forms of clothing. People who design this way are meant to go beyond the boundaries and create outrageous items to put on a person, and have them show it off.
