Travis Fimmel (Ragnar) just decided to appear in a kangaroo costume!
The costume caught the Vikings panel's attention early in the discussion, while Alexander Ludwig was answering a question about why Bjorn slept with Lagertha's (Katheryn Winnick) girlfriend, Astrid. After the animal costume caused a bit of a fuss, everyone seemed to move on.
Then, who should be the first fan up to the microphone with a question other than that same kangaroo. He presented the panel with a sword to sign and then requested a hug.
It's at this point most fans typically roll their eyes at the weirdo holding up the fan questions section of their very limited panel time, but lo and behold, when that kangaroo came up on stage, none other than.................TRAVIS FIMMEL was under the mask!

I mean, the dude was ragnar, he embodied the soul of ragnar lothbrok, there was never a look, or a head tilt, or a smile, or any movement that wasn't totally ragnar... very few actors come to BE a character like travis fimmel... the episode where he comes back and tells floki he loves him is a MASTER CLASS in acting...

I'm still in mourning. I have never been so deeply affected by the death of a tv character EVER. I haven't even been able to binge watch the last season, and usually by now I've binge watched the past season at least 6 or 7 times by now. He was a brilliant actor, and I agree 100% that he embodied the soul of ragnar lothbrok.

SemisLegit didnt really understand u. Im trying to say travis did a very good job of HIS portrayal of ragnar (i loved it) But we can never know what really ,this man buried in history , acted like. Mightve been a completely different person to whats seen in the series. Just thought it was funny of the comment to say a 'ragnar look' or 'ragnar smile'.

I was watching Gustaf for most of this. Love his smile, and of course, "All hail the king!" And I really appreciate how he watched Trav and stayed standing until Trav sat down. You can tell they all have great friendships. I just love the respect and admiration Gustaf showed.

Miss him in Vikings, at the first episode without Ragnar I felt there's no Viking. Hope Warcraft 2 release sooner to see him become a worrier again.

Ragnar was the whole series his charisma outshines all the rest of the actors. Bjorn tried hard but he's only muscles and a haircut ivar is good but no where near Ragnar.

I was meant to be Tuesday I agree, but to stay true to history, Ragnar couldn't be kept alive forever. Eventually the story would have to shift to his sons and their ruling. He will be missed, though.

@@cowboybry stay true to history??? Nothing in the show is true to history. Which is kinda disappointing for the history channel... they chose to go for ratings not actual history. Still love the show though

@@joshua7426 ragnar was the first viking to discover england and france blood eagle was a real punishment for vikings who did something defying their rules his sons avenged their father and raided all of england he was married with lagertha and aslaug king aelle killed ragnar by throwing him in a pit/hole with serpents how can you say its not based on true events?
