Today we castrated our cat and she has to wear a cone so that she not lick her wound. I find it kinda weird that there is no other alternative? Wouldt it not be better if they could put a bandage around her wound or some cat "jacket"? She would not be able to lick and she would not need to suffer a cone for 10 days and nights. Idk how i feel about that..

My dog once got a cone and he didn't like it. Its a clear dog cone. He had to have it on for about 2 days I think. I don't remember how long because I was about 4 years old.

I found out today the cones are 100% not even needed, and that the vets just put them off so later on they can laugh and laugh at both the animals and their owners.
