This is a delicious snack with an Asian twist that has furikake, soy sauce, mochi crunch and li hing mui powder. Eat at picnics, barbecues, watching television, movies and sports events, tail gating or when you have the munchies. Once you try it, you'll love it because it is so addicting!

I remember the original recipe had Worcestershire sauce but a lot of the recipes I don't see it added. Love it!

Love this recipe! I tried stiring the furikake in to the liquid first, then pouring it over the ceral mix helped it to "stick" better, then all the furikake didn't end up at the bottom 🙂 Mahalo Aunty!

This one is really tasty and has an Asian twist. My grandkids just requested it and will be making some soon. Many recipes are being video'd but will have to wait till I get home next month for the editing.

Save the pkg of silica and put it into your finished furikake Chex mix to keep it dry and crispy. From a fellow OT..

The stainless steel one? If so, my original one is very thick and I got it from Thailand years ago. The other lighter ones are from International Marketplace in Vegas I think but search around other Chinatown stores. Are you with Foster Gardens?

@@HawaiisPickleLady I just noticed your reply. Sorry. I did find a stainless steel one with a short handle at a store here in Hawaii & I just love it for mixing & serving. Aloha! Iris PS, no I’m not with Foster Gardens....maybe it’s the other Iris Fukunaga. There is actually another person with the same first & last name here in Hawaii.
