From what I can tell most are skipping him. How about a video analyzing Furina with other freeze characters like Ganyu and Ayaka? I am slightly biased because I have them both C6.
Even if he's not a T0 dps I so appreciate normal attackers like him who don't depend on their burst for every rotation. He feels so easy to use as long as you can manage his hp.
Tiers mean very little in Genshin anyway. Spiral Abyss is just that easy on average. And when you need to tryhard just swap in a SS meta team call it a day (hyperbloom etc). Just be wary when a new 5* is called dogs***. Which isnt the case for Wrio. Noone calls him that. Hes fine just not broken.
@@prodigaloutcastsadly that's true. There's just no content to build OP characters and farm good artitfacts. Nowaday I keep my characters at lvl 70 and just put them in the teapot. Because too many characters, too little gameplay

true his damage potential is so high with melt team, and if you talking about C1 that's really top tier early constellation for Wrio mains to get, and he is so flexible
Besides that, it'd be fun to have new endgame content in general. Something I really enjoy in Star Rail is the simulated universe, I'd love for something like that to be introduced in Genshin.

I have been having fun with Wrio recent in abyss and open world with melt, burn melt, freeze and hyper fridge team and his personal damage is really good with fun playstyle. Can't wait how Furina would improve him further
I really had fun testing out diff teams with him (granted Abyss is very easy this patch). The most fun/dps I had is burn melt with Bennett, Thoma and Nahida. I get 150k+ melts. Ngl I like the melt comps better than freeze. If Furina can make freeze comps worthwhile, I'm intrigued to get her.
I don't have nahida, so not an option for now.. but will get her later.. I'm aiming to use this team, C1 Wrio - Shenhe - Nahida - Thoma.. But, no healer.. so idk.. Sure bennett is better for that pyro res, heal and huge atk buff.. but i dislike his circle impact on Wrio..
i aint disapointed with Wriothesly at all i got c1, around 2k attack, 70% crit rate (100% with artifact hunter set), and 200% crit damage 46% cryo bonus 42-92 elemental mastery (new bp weapon) and he is amazing with Shenhe, Albedo, Nahida, Yelan, Xingqui (best), Kuki, Bennett, Xiangling, Yun Jin, Ayato and Mika ❄❄🔥🔥🔥❄❄
Even though I don't have Wriothesley (yet), I'll be taking notes. Furina is my top priority at the moment, despite the fact that I'm a HUGE Wriothesley fan. It just so happens that Furina fulfills both wants and needs as oppose to Wriothesley (only the want aspect).
well, not like Neuvillette needs her. But I will do the same, just because I can slot Neuvi and Furina in a team together. And Neuvillette isn't about to leave my team anytime soon so why pull Wriothesley now if I can't play him now? I will go for rerun instead.

Thank you for clarifying that his C1 feels not as needed in Furina teams. I lost the 50/50 for his c1 and was upset, but now I think pulling Furina and skipping his C1 is much better for him. Thank you again!
For anyone watching this after Furina's release. Burn/melt is still better than any Wrio/Furina team. You dont need her if you main Wrio, but if you want her for diverse teams outside of Wrio then shes decent.
I got extremely lucky and pulled him a day ago so now i can focus on Furina because she was my initial plan to get too. This video was very informative tho thank you! I'm a new player so seeing which teams might work the best was extremely helpful ❤🙏
After getting Neuvillette, I was expecting the worst possible scenario pulling for Wrio. But he actually came home pretty early and I got Diluc after him so guaranteed Furina. Time to rewatch all of your Furina videos.

Furina definitely be my priority for rerun. Right now Wriothesley gets all the attention lmao He's been very generous to me with decent dmg and his playstyle is smooth, which something i appreciate a lot
Disappointed with Wriothesley??? Hell nah! I did not expect anything from him. But His Grace casually melts for 70k, he carried the abyss being lvl80 with Wanderers bell, I did not expect him to be this powerful. Granted, he is c1. What he gonna do with Furina then 🥰
sounds awesome, but its not just abyss, he generally decimates :D I just wanted a fun champ to run around with, I did not expect him to decimate the new talent domain in 24 seconds, that is Neuvilettes timing. His talents are lvl7 fk sake 😅@@greenvega
Been having an absolute blast with Wrio. Very easy and smooth gameplay that doesnt rely on burst. Sure he has his problems, but they can definitely be worked around

Won my 50/50 with a c1 wriothesley after the guaranteed wriothesley. Still got 200 pulls for furina 😜 50/50 is after 40 pulls after the guaranteed wrio btw so only a total of 130pulls for c1 wrio
@@gubzs over 350 wishes for C1R1 is actually normal. 115 is the average for 1 copy of a 5 star character, so 115x2 = 230, for weapon normally you get it after 130, so 360 wishes.
Great video as always! If I may offer a suggestion, would you consider putting a read-only link to your sheets in the video descriptions? Would be helpful in adjusting things for personal setups. Also, probably will not get clicks, but a Noelle Furina video would be cool. I've seen claims that a triple Geo team with Noelle EQ -> CAx19 w/ book trick -> Gorou E -> Noelle N2 sheets 70K DPS. Might also be potential for interesting use of Noelle's Burst extension bug. Or you could save it for when Itto presumably reruns in 4.3
It’s funny, even when logged into the game, I have completely forgotten Mika existed. I never even bothered trying him with any of my teams when I got him yesterday. But I am holding out hope for Furina to bring some cohesion and completion to the whole Fontaine meta, similar to how Nahida made Dendro so much more accessible.

Wriothesley is everything i wanted him to be honestly - easy and fun as hell to play, and strong enough to play him in co-op without a dedicated support. My new favorite character in every aspect! Gameplay, design, lore - he's /IT/
Try out burgeon with nahida, c6 Thoma and xinqiu. It's so damn cathartic seeing him punch a mob and it both freezes AND explodes cores in the area. It's like he's boxing in a minefield! I 36 star'd abyss with this
i somehow managed to get insanely lucky on wrio banner, saved about a 124 and managed to get c2 and weapon. all my pulls were on 50/50s too. so far cant complain about him since i prefarmed him to lvl 90 10-9-7 and have a good ass mh set for him
i know lyney is a mono pyro carry but im still curious, how good is furina with him? is she still usable? does she add enough benefit to risk vaporize? is she a fine addition in place of xiangling/kazuha?
I wonder if all current fontaine dps , lyney, neu and wrio would work well with furina? It also seems that future navia, clorinde and arce are all selfish dps, so i guess the new supports must be all 4 stars like charlotte. But where are the buffers? We dont have a specific hydro gorou/sara/faruzan. Maybe a hp buffer in the future ?

I'm happy with my Rizzy. He melts charges for 110k to 140k each and small hits can be from 20k to like 36k each. He's pretty beefy considering I have 100% crit rate on him so I never miss crits.
If c1 makes him more comfortable to play and I can slam charge attacks I’m getting it. My only concern is do I need a healer if the cool down is from 5 to 3 with CA or no.
Yes and no. You don't *need* a healer with C1, in my experience, but it's useful to have a tiny bit of "incidental healing", such as Mika/Jean or even a Prototype Amber Mona just to ensure he's topped up, in case the enemy has the audacity to die before the charged attack has a chance to heal him. C1 is extremely worth it, btw. Huge jump in comfort and damage. Legitimately like I pulled an entirely different character.
Thanks for your video! Furina should be very good unit, I hope I will be able to get her juicy C2. And I am curious to see how Wriothesley rankings will change with this girl. I think I will put mine to Neuvilette, cause I decided (and your videos were one of the selling points) to pull his C6, and now I am C6R2. At this point he just solo-clears both sides of the Abyss, humilating even poor Coppelia. His constellations are just too strong. Hope he will get some anemo unit who will be able to swirl off-field - his field time is too high for Kazu, sadly.

It's like Cyno or Nilou with Nahida again.. don't fall for the constellation bait. HYV will create a problem and sell the future unit as a solution as usual. Why not have Wriothesley, Qiqi, Furina, and Kazuha? Sounds like a good comp. Or Would Qiqi’s Cryo application or ER requirements be too much of an issue?
Wish they release some support unit for rev melt. So much hoops and loops just to get a functioning vv setup and even when you ignore that you're still dealing with bennett circle

how do you think the wrio, furina, charlotte/mika, kazuha teams would fair with replacing kazuha with sucrose? also with the leaks (still very early) for cloud retained being an anemo healer what are your thoughts on that? its likely that since shes coming out right after furina and shes a healer she might be one of the best healers for furina and therefore wriothesley and nuevelette but thats just speculation.

@@jr-hc2iv Assuming Furina is a must: Kokomi isn't ideal since she doesn't do team-wide healing unless you on-field her which isn't ideal. You always play furina with a healer so a shielder (Layla) is unnecessary. Your options are: Cryo healer: Wrio, Furina, charlotte/mika, kazuha/sucrose Anemo healer: Wrio, Furina, shenhe, jean Keep in mind that these teams are built around maximising furina's buff so there's always a team-wide healer. There are many other options if you neglect this or simply remove furina.

Will you cover Furina's freeze teams with the other cryo carries as well? I would really like to know how Ayaka would perform on these teams instead of Wriothesley. Especially Charlotte, Kazuha, Furina one

After the buffs that Furina received it really isn't that hard to reach max stacks on any team as long as you have a team wide healer and considering that Ayaka is just a quite stronger unit than Wriothesley at base I wouldn't be surprised if she end up being better in those teams.
@@wagnowwerneck1376 but youd then be losing on either the other cryo or kazuha, which are both quite effective, and still, wrio would perform better then ayaka st wise anyways

Honestly I'm not disappointed in the slightest, sure I got him to C1 + signature weapon so I guess it's natural, but he's absolutely blasting. So Furina making him even better is just icing on the cake for me
My main worry about the team with Furina is if I’ll be able to swirl both elements against bosses, getting high uptime on Hydro and Cryo VV, and how to do that. I know Freeze isn’t meant for bosses, but often Hoyoverse puts both Freezable enemies and a boss in the same half of the Abyss and I don’t change team in those cases, I do the Abyss in one go. I also wonder how much the team with Furina becomes worse than Melt teams if someone decides to get Wriothesley’s constellation.
How does he perform in burgeon with nahida xingxiu and thoma. Will u be able to melt wrio I wanted to try this comp but my thoma is lvl20😅. And 50 percent hp shouldnt be a problem with xingxiu healing u at the end of the rotation and prototype amber nahida.
Not consistently because Xingqiu applies hydro pretty fast and Thoma is a very slow pyro applier (once every 3 seconds) but yeah every 3 seconds that Thoma applies pyro you have a chance to melt, if Xingqiu doesn’t vape first.
@@peterparker1262 not only less healing but also much less burgeons, if Xingqiu is C6 replacing him with Yelan is 100% a massive nerf and usually even before C6, this even without considering the QoL About the healing, keep in mind that burning is a problem for your health, Wrio is a melee and chances of getting damaged by burning are extremely high. I’ve played similar teams in the past and even this same team but with Rosaria instead of Wrio, Nahida on prototype amber. I’ve cleared with it (I’ve uploaded the run) and if you dodge most hits it’s totally fine… but if you get burned then it’s harsh, which is something that you can’t totally control
I think with Furina he will be more dependant of C1. His hp loss + Furina's HP loss, without his passive healing constanly provided by C1, he will be struggleling to keep HP above 50% even with a good healer.
I managed to get Furina which is amazing but I cannot get Charlotte and don't have Mika or Jean (even after playing this game from day 1, she eludes me) 😭 I HATE how these banners work for 4 stars. I've gotten probably 7 Colleis (who I will never build)
Well i just cleared abyss 12 top chamber in 41 sec with a c1 wrio, c0 furina, benet and xiangling team and you are telling it dosent work ? Seems we experience different realitys.
i'm worried what if all the future fontaine characters have the same issue as wrizzly and they're all constellation and furina depended? Only Lyney and Neuvi seem fine without Furina.
I liked running him with Kuki for the quest. Obviously, electro + cryo is garbage for him, and she is not ideal for that reason, but what I like is the 100% uptime healing, that moves with him. I'd really like to have something like a pyro Kuki, because I prize mobility and dislike Circle Impact. But alas, our lovely red wearing upcoming four star healer is yet another cryo one. But yeah, I'd really like more characters in other elements that heal like Kuki.
after hearing about the Furina con swap i decided to abandon my goal of c2 r1 Furina and went for Wriothesley instead! i also got lucky and got his signature weapon and he’s been a lot of fun so far in open world! haven’t attempted abyss yet since im still in the process of farming for him but hopefully i’ll get to test him out there before the end of the patch 🙏✨thankfully he didn’t cost me too many primos so my next goal will be c0 r1 Furina so i can use her to improve his damage 🥰✨

I think Furina will make alot of new teams, peer example vermilion artifact on a diluc c2 ( lose life gets stronger ) will make him usefull, Noelle c6 as main dps ( furina deals dmg for all team and noelle heals all team so would be a easier way to maintain the fanfare buff) and jean would be very usefull again because she heals all team and is anemo who can strip resistance. So in my opinion she will be OP af, c0 with full fanfare stacks u can get 69% dmg buff, her skills have 100% uptime, the damage with golden troup artifact set would be amazing on her also, like way stronger than most archons that we have in the game IF u can utilize her kit properly. ( Correct me if I'm wrong )
and Furina is not made just for fontaine chracters, cmon think a bit, she will drain ur life very fast, doesn't matter if the main dps drains his own HP, Furina will do it anyway, so rely on the healer and gg ( Correct me if I'm wrong )
I hope a new artifact set comes out in 4.3 for charlotte to consolidate her role as an actual good support. It's kinda silly that mika, a phys support, can go toe to toe with her. But i guess that any artifact that goes well on charlotte, should also go well with mika.
His kit is cool, but as a pure on field cryo character, he feels a bit disapointing to have these restrictions on his charged attack. At least, like, made in a way that 'if he lost 50% of his max hp during the last X.X seconds, he gets an improvement in his charged attack' would be miles ahead better. I didn’t quite understand the issues between the double hydro and the wrio, furina, charlotte team. If the downside is being single target oriented, wouldn’t that be the same for charlotte’s team as she isn’t a damage dealer?
@@webbedmonkey7293 No, but you would still be able to swirl cryo which is the more dominant element in terms of dmg on that team, so the loss is smaller
Okay, all this talk of Charlotte gets me thinking: She's good for Wrio because of her Cryo application and easy proc of Millileth, but her poor healing is an issue. Hear me out: Is this the Qiqi redemption arc? Sac sword TotM Qiqi sounds like she could fill that role pretty easily while also comfortably supporting both Wrio and Furina's HP drain with her previously-wildly-overkill healing potency.
