I legit got chills watching this trailer! The Mad Max universe is one of my favourite movie universes and this movie looks like it absolutely fits with the rest of them. I cannot wait for this one!
I’m curious, was there a reason the trailer was clipped in this reaction? Was it a copyright issue? Only asking because with trailer reactions you guys usually play the whole thing uninterrupted?
YES! Please, I'd love to see your reactions and hear your commentary on the shots you did for Fury Road.. It gets so tiring how critical people are becoming when it comes to film. Like there HAS to be a level of realism in everything. What happened to just sitting back and getting lost in the enjoyment of a movie? Who cares if x, y and z make sense. It doesn't always have to.
Why do you guys pause/edit/skips in the video of the trailer? No one else does that on RU-vid. Copyright or not, not one single reaction channel does that. Throws me off. You guys didn't do that for many previous reactions. Just curios as to why.
Fury Road has a bunch of noticable cgi backgrounds and shots in the movie. If Furiosa is as entertaining as Fury Road. I don't care about the fake mountain range, sand storm, and occasional cgi car.
Some are referencing GasTown. That is also fake or unrealistic. Gasoline production is complex and can't be done in Gastown alone to supply all those vehicles. It takes a lot of plant complexity to maximize gasoline production. However, kerosine, diesel, and heavy fuel oil can be produced by fairly simple refineries. A crude distillation unit and some hydrotreating capacity is all that is needed. Ultimately the way the world is presented, no one would be driving if it was real. Cause crude oil production is also not an easy thing. It's a complex and deadly job.
Damn... I was really hoping they took some more time to polish up the CGI a bit. Don't get me wrong, it still looks cool but... it's just disappointing to see digital cars in a movie that's a prequel to a movie that was praised for it's stunt work. And Hemsworth... listen... he's one of my favorite actors... but he's too cheesy. I really hope they have more lowkey moments where he's not just... ya know... constantly hamming it up. That was another brilliant part of Fury Road. Yeah everything was wild and weird but it felt *lived in*. Like these people were just being themselves and weren't putting on a show for us, ya know?
regarding Hemsworth, I think that's part of his character, in one of the shots he is wearing a marching band jacket, when you also add the 'lady and gentlemens, start your engines' he's clearly hosting and signaling a race so I think Dementus (Hemsworth's character) is supposed to be some kind of showman, with his six wheeled tow-monster-truck
This movie is going to be BANANAS epic. The same team as Fury Road... George Miller at the helm. Trust in Miller. PLUS, why has nobody commented on the AWESOME revolver/brass knuckle/switchblade thing she uses to cut her hair??? OMG someone needs to get on that.
