I've been in that situation once, there this lady giggling playing her phone in my seat, I politely ask her to move, she answer by staring at me like I am some peasant and move aggressively, till this day I still remember her annoyed face. Like man those kind of people really exist huh

Something similar to this has happened to me, when I was en route from Malaysia to Dubai. I was supposed to sit near the window but this lady took my seat and her husband was at the middle seat. I politely asked her that she’s on my seat and she and her husband looked at me straight in the eye and COMPLETELY ignored me. A flight attendant was the discomfort on my face and cane to my aid, took my ticket and politely asked her that she’s taken my seat. The lady got mad and said she wanted to sit here, she was so stubborn she INSISTED she didn’t want to move. The flight attendant said that I paid for this seat so it’s rightfully mine, the lady seemed to be getting angrier. I told the flight attendant that “it’s fine, she can have my seat” cause I did not want any drama occurring on this flight. The flight attendant asked me if I’m sure about this, then told me that if there’s any problem just let her know (she was so kind) Not even 5 minutes have passed the lady and her husband demanded that they wanted to get “better seats” cause it seems that after getting what they want from the previous ordeal they think they could easily get what they want. And ofc the flight attendant rejected their request but told them they could move to ANOTHER economy seat IF one of the passengers failed to board the plane. And then that didn’t work they asked another flight attendant but she told them the same reason. They didn’t manage to get a “better seat” and got stuck with me. It’s seemed like she hated my presence.

I’ve done this before. Taken someone’s seat. I then said, “sorry I misread the sign”. The person said “haha it’s okay, I sometimes get it wrong too”. We swapped seats and had a very pleasant ride and I didn’t get banned for 180 days 😂😂😂

This is very common on high speed trains. I have experienced this on several ocassions. It can be difficult to recognize the seat number on the ticket. On my last trip a woman with a child was in my seat, being a middle seat amongst three. I did not pursue it, as there were many other seats available in this carriage, and after all, i was only travelling one station.

I remember sitting next to a Chinese guy in a plane. He spilled beer on my pants and apologized in a humble manner. Quite unlike the lady on the video who came straight from the jungle...

I had the same experience once but I never raised my voice. I just showed the person my ticket and that it was my seat and then asked what seat they had and once they showed me their ticket I took their seat. I got to my destination and she got the pleasure of listening to my 13 year old talk to her about math the entire trip!

Banning people from high speed train is the best way to punish someone who breaks rules, 180 days without trains is a nightmare in China.

A guy and his mother stole my window seat on the airplane, told them about it and they refuse to give me my seat with an attitude. Was mad about it. Told one of the flight attendants she removed them from my seat, they kept talking and I was like, you know what I will look for somewhere else, one of the lady found me a two seats to myself. Some people are just sick.

Such a rude behavior !! She wanted window seat n kept on defending ..sad for the person who booked window seat !! N when in queue few people push to make way n the way they push it hurts !! Not at all polite..!!

I was at the reception dinner at an academic conference. I entered the dining hall early so I could find myself a table. So I placed my belongings including my name tag and my own personal bag on top of a chair at a table and went to the lavatory thinking that no one would take my seat at that table. Upon my return, my seat was occupied by a Chinese academic and she simply left my belongings on the dining table. I noticed that she wouldn't make eye contact with me. I didn't want to make a scene so I simply stood there wondering what I should do since by then all the tables were fully taken. Long story short, the conference organizers had to do last minute scrambles to find me a seat before the keynote speaker would start his speech. I guess stealing other people's seats is very common among chinese people?

This woman, really has no respect for rules and society. I am quite suppressed to see that the officer was quite patient and able to hold his emotions.

To be honest I had the same issue when I was on the bullet train in China. Some woman took my seat and wouldn’t move. I had to find an unoccupied seat in the next cabin ;(

In addition, she was arguing with the train conductor. Such audacity... Should get the face recognition and ban her from train rides for awhile. Unruly behaviour. Such righteousness.
