I love the idea of textured wall paper. It is such a nice and clean textured effect, better than stenciling, in my opinion because it is just easier. Thank you for sharing this project.
I was going to say the same thing. I wasn't too sure about the different colors of the drawers but I think the the gold details pulled everything together. very impressive.
Wow! This came out amazing. Its so true about the burnout as a creative, its so easy to get lost in just painting things that *other* people will buy, we forget how freeing it is to just paint for ourselves...
This is just beautiful! I bet the details really pop even more in person. 🤩 Is this the one you decoupaged with the flowers? Did you find it didn't sell? I'm getting ready to tackle a dresser like that. 🤔. Thanks 😊.
Hi Amy wow this piece is exquisite absolutely gorgeous, I love the colours the blend technique you used the wallpaper and the bronzy colour on the wall paper details and handles ,I really love how this looks and while you did this for you I would bet you will find a lot of people wanting to buy this piece for sure, thanks for sharing all the best Mary in Australia🌻
Dear Amy, Hello, I am a new subscriber from CrysDawna’s U-Tube Channel and I am happy to be here…. This piece of Art is Gorgeous and my Absolute Favorite of your Art Pieces!!! The colors are perfect in every way and the mouse on the wallpaper was a game changer!!!…. I look forward to watching more of your videos and I thank you for letting us watch you create your Art Pieces…. 💐Blessings to You, Marley from Missouri P.S. Where can we purchase wallpaper like this one from? Thanks!
Hi Marley, Thank you so much for your kind words! I really appreciate you subscribing and watching. It means a whole lot to me❤️ You can buy the paintable wallpaper on Amazon or even at Home Depot 😊
I just don't understand how some of you can paint without a drop cloth, minimal taping (or no tape in your case) and not make a mess. When I paint with a brush, I make a mess. I know, user error, as well as lack of experience, on my part but I am really in awe and am jealous of y'all who do such a great job painting. :-)
Oh God lord..at first I thought this woman is crazy.all those colors..she is ruining that beautiful dresser..then that happened..wow..beautiful work.a true artist..they say trust the process...
So very dramatic!! Its not the piece for everyone but that is ridiculously amazing. Turning off the planning is good sometimes. I make quilts and overthink them. ....to death. While I am doing one, my mom has done 5 quilts. All true!! She is beyond 75 and just does it. She probably plans while she is tending her 2 gardens. Your piece is very very very inspiring!!! 🤯🤯🤯 WOW WOW WOW
Ive prob watch this video at least 15 times!! This is one of my favorites!! Now I am going to put what I have learned from you to good use!! Thank you!! You are amazing!!🥰🤗
This is absolutely STUNNING!! I love the random blending of each of the different colors on each drawer and then the Gem Stone Mousse in Amber, just W O W!! This is one of the most gorgeous pieces I’ve ever seen! And I love that you just started creating. We all need that piece where we just have fun with it and you definitely succeeded!
This is gorgeous! I have used wallpaper on drawer fronts myself, but, really didn't do anything special after that, Now I'm going to redo a couple drawers, and add mouse. Thank you again for great video!
This is beautiful. I'm a man and I'm so glad I stumbled across you and your chanel. My wife is going to love this once I get home and show her these new tricks. Thank you so much!!
I really love this flip. Just letting the creative juices flow, really worked on this particular piece! I really liked seeing how to use printable wallpaper properly. How to keep the pattern even. This project ended up surprising me. I thought the hardware was the jewel in the crown!
The warm undertone of drawer 2 doesn't match the cool tones of the rest of the blues, kind of jarring to the eye. But wow what a statement piece! In the right setting this could be a topic of conversation. It's interesting the materials you used, the paintable wallpaper's pattern was nicely highlighted. Had to be a fun project for you, thanks for sharing : )
I used the same wallpaper as a background of a buffet, and also highlighted in metallic by dry brushing gold. Mine was more of a gilded-but-worn look; I love your idea for a more specific gilding! So pretty! 😍
At first I hated it but then I kept watching and it kept changing you are brilliant I have done sponge painting on walls in the past painted wallpaper I just come in fashion and for her paper I never really got a chance to use them I would have never thought about doing it on furniture what a great idea
