New RV’er here. Bought a 2021 with one of these ovens in it. We couldn’t get pilot in the oven to come on for NOTHING! Finally tried your truck of turning off the propane tanks and reattaching them in the sequence you suggested. By golly it worked! We both looked at each other, high fives, and both said “ I can’t believe that worked “, lol. Thank you!!!
Hey bro hope you are well. Sorry we haven't been able to visit you for a while we were in Bulgaria then Malta were we got stuck due to Covid and flights we're cancelled. But great to catch up with you again. Love all your knowledge and expertise with this subject. Thanks so much for sharing this. Stay safe and catch up again real soon God bless.
Paul, the beard looks great! We have a Suburban gas stove, no oven. I agree, NEVER search for a gas leak using a lighter, lol. I bet people have done it too.
I'm here trying to figure out why my Furrion oven wants to burn down my camper. A minute or two after lighting the oven, a burst of flame comes flying out of the back of the oven. I turned it off before it caused any major damage, but I haven't figure out why it's happening.
Great tips & tricks. We don’t have this new oven/stove, but maybe we should upgrade. I like the changing lights feature when you turn it on. The oven definitely lights much easier than ours, too. Yes, a stone under the rack totally helps with even cooking. Don’t check for LP leaks with fire; great tip! 🤣
Does anyone know how to lift up cooktop for cleaning? I accidentally dropped potatoes while cooking/turning and can't figure out how to lift top to clean underneath?
This was a very helpful video. I'm a newbie to RVing and especially to cooking with propane. I have this exact oven. My question is this: I did notice that one of the knobs was red when we were camping and immediately shut it off. Not being familiar with propane cooking, I opened a couple of vents and windows. The alarm did not go off (though I was a little panicked anyway due to my lack of knowledge). I did notice after that when my husband or I brushed up against the stove while moving thru the RV, we would accidentally turn it on. I'm wondering if there are safety knobs available for this model to prevent that from happening. Do you know or do you have any recommendations?
