Commentary was totally right in its omission. The music was superb as background to an absolutely fabulous layout. It can only be described as a masterpiece in railway modelling. I could, and probably will, watch this video over and over. A wonderful experience. Cheers, Bob
perfectly orchestrated show of excellent rolling stock on fantastique parade ground......spectacular stuff.....one super highlight after another......i love it......:-)
Just love to see this layout, it's uncluttered appearance and prototypical trains going by which make it amazing. How different is this place today, four tracks with not any sign of the station left, apart from the street name. Even despite some consessions were done to the prototype (absence of the 2 underpasses and an overpass added to the end of the station to create an end to the layout) it's still very convincing.
Excellent!, if this was filmed in 8mm cine this could well be real life 1958. A wonderful period layout, very subtly modelled and well operated. Lovely to see!
Love this layouts unfussyness (if thats a word!),attention to detail and crisp appearance .Going to try to achieve a similar effect on my mine ! Doubtful for a newbie but im going to aim this high first time .Simply wonderful.
Great video of a wonderful layout, with beautiful music, though a little sombre. I trust Tony is okay. Regards and a Merry Christmas from Greg in Australia.
My kind of layout. Loved the v2 on the fish train. No doubt One round had fallen into an empty coal wagon from Copenhagen tunnel southern portal on a down empties returning to the Nottingham coal fields.had passed throught Tony's layout. Lets hope he enjoyed the lopsided syncopated beat of a v2 as much as I did.
