My grandpa's brother George R. Wilson died just a week before the end of WW2. He was the driver of an American M4 tank and the entire crew died. It happened at the intersection of Karl Heine Str. and Zschochersche Str. in Leipzig Germany, 18 April 1945, He belonged to Company C, 741st Tank Battalion.
Ben Porter Well they would buy one, because If someone wants one, they will get one. I know someone who has two of them, he’s a military enthusiast and engineer. Better than driving around in a car isn’t it. Live life on the edge and fuck the rest.
probably one of the worst films of all time, just like white tiger. everywhere mistakes and illogical actions. The film should be over, with the frontal attack on the well entrenched pak unit, right over the open field, because they would kill fury and his comrades in no time. the best part of the movie are the tanks. i saw them at the bovington tank museum.
Its a movie, suspension of disbelief is required, if every movie that gets picked apart by cinema sins and history buffs were historically accurate or realistic to the T, it would be more or less boring. its a movie, and a damn good one to, its for entertainment, just try to enjoy the movie. yes they put in historical things and their good ways to learn about stuff and get people interested in the history of stuff. but In the end it is just a movie, their not trying to be historically accurate.
One of the best movies of recent memory actually. I'd put it at the same level as Saving Private Ryan actually. Hell, the characters are less annoying so I'd probably put Fury over Saving Private Ryan.
This movie is so amazing still in 2020 the ending where everyone dies still makes me shed tears if you know any other good war movies let me know please
Ryan, have you seen Fury!? I just watched it last night and for me personally it's one o the, if not the best movie I've ever seen. I love the acting, dialogue and theme so much. It's one of those movies you have to pay attention to everything the whole time but it's an amazing movie. Plus Jon Bernthal who played Shane on the walking dead is in it!
RickGrimes MeetsMrMayhem have you seen redtales? sadly in fury because its Hollywood its not as realistic as it can be cause the fury has a 76.2 mm cannon which was ment to shoot straight through the front but in the movie its bounces lol
RickGrimes MeetsMrMayhem Old ass thread but this clip was recommended so fuck it.... Fury sucked. The ending was nauseating. Imagine some tanker from Patton’s 4th Armored watching this dreck.
It truly is a great movie......... UNTIL..... the end. 80% of a Company of Waffen SS are going to storm a tank from the front where the tanks machine gun is? I dont think so. Then Brad gets out to use the .50 and no ones around to plug him? (except the sniper?) And then the ss had anti tank weapons, after the very 1st burst from that machine gun, they would've taken cover and destroyed the tank? Looks like the writers lost their way, but its still a great movie.... Up until the end battle.
That's life man. I know exactly how you feel. We just have to suck it up and deal with it. Btw, her Instagram shows her daughter in it too with her noyfriend who I assume is married to her right now.
The concept of a trailor is to give and idea of what to expect. It often has key lines in it to set a tone or give hints. But you won't hear them if you don't shut up about how you "love the way they shot the film"
SPOILERS sorta i love that part at the end when they were fighting those nazis i think about 200-300 of them then wardaddy (brad Pitts character) that line he yelled to a general when h r said "shut the fuck up and keep sending me more pigs to kill!"
You should watch a movie called White Tiger. It's a World War 2 movie about a Russian tank driver hunting a tiger tank that is painted white. You can find the trailer on youtube. I think you can even find the movie on youtube as well. Also great trailer reaction.
Whoo! I was wondering if you guys were going to react to this. I think it looks great! The really cool thing is that the tanks themselves are not CGI, they actually got permission to use actually WW2 tanks from a museum.
Hey guys there actually was a police chase with a guy in a tank. He ended up getting caught cause he went up on the median wall on a highway and couldn't get off so then the cops just went on top of the tank and got him lol. Also if you guys did that ud be like bonnie and Clyde. Lol

The film looks very nice! Pitt is a great actor, so i have faith for this movie. Great reaction! I love Cat! BTW.. React to "Horrible Bosses 2" teaser is freaking hilarius!
In reality a Tiger I would have only had to aim for the Lower Plate of the Gun Mantlet on a Sherman Firefly as this would cause the shell (if it hits correctly) to bounce off of the Lower Plate and go straight through the hatch of either the Driver or the Co-Driver (killing them instantly) and this may also cause some of the ammo to explode if shrapnel gets thrown around (depending on the shell)
+A Potato It isn't a tactic it's a simple shot that the gunner of the Tiger I could've taken to easily disable the Sherman Firefly from any combat mission after that
I know this post is pretty old but if you haven't noticed it already the Tiger did penetrate the Easy Eight, it took out its hydraulics if I'm not mistaken. The first shot didn't penetrate since it ricochet off the front plate at an extreme angle.
I like how they are using actual tanks that saw action. But it is still completely unrealistic. Germans were - Better equiped soldiers + more experienced - Better aircraft - MUCH better tanks Americans were - Well equipped but had no experience - Good aircraft but inexperienced crews - Horrible ass tanks it would take anywhere between 8 and 12 Sherman tanks just to kill one tiger or panther. That point im trying to get across here is that although the film itself will be good, but its a American propaganda movie. They would have never survived such events if they actually happened.
Who gives a shit it's a movie. When were war movies supposed to be actuate? It's Hollywood, they do shit like this all the time. If you want to talk about propaganda, watch movies like Independence Day or Pearl Harbor or any other movies that came out of the 90's.
Krikeny, GO LEARN HISTORY!! "Better equiped soldiers + more experienced" Main Rifle of the German Army, Bolt Action < Americans had Semi-Auto Rifles "Better aircraft" Germany never produced a good bomber, "MUCH better tanks" Better in what way? A Sherman Tank could go hundreds of Miles without any problem, you were lucky if a Tiger tank could make 30 Miles before breaking down or having a problem FACT: 70% of the German Army used Horse to move stuff around, USA had Ford and GM animals were only used in the Mountains of Italy. General Patton go learn about him, Patton killed,Captured and moved faster then any other army in the shortest amount of time in HISTORY he did it with tanks like the Sherman!!! Germany was so much better right? Then how come at the battle of the Bugle an Airborne Division with hardly any tanks stopped dead 3 German Armor Divisions!! YOUR A FUCKING DUMB ASS. GO LEARN HISTORY O FYI, the Germans lost WW2
***** because those german armoured divisions ran out of fuel. it is true that the tiger had a lot of break downs but in terms of destruction it was superior to any other tank in WW2 only weakness was its ass.
Krikeny [SPOILERS] They don't survive. It's also not really a propaganda movie because most of the American characters are cold, brutal and unlikable. Also, the Sherman was a good tank for its time, roughly equal to the Panzer IV. Tigers were just way ahead of their time.
