Say what you want about the laser-esque tracer rounds flying everywhere, the Germans not attacking the lead tank in a column, and one tank decimating an entire SS battalion, the soundtrack to this film goes extremely hard. It's probably the best WWII movie soundtrack in my opinion.
Steven Price did a phenomenal job with the music for Fury, it’s kind of a mix of techno and orchestra, however more orchestra-leaning which makes it interesting.
underrated? this movie slapped when it first came out what are you talking about? have you forgot even the memes with brad pitt's hairstyle and the sherman vs tiger clash ?
@@juhannusruusu never saw them. I purely experienced the movie on its own merits, and while it's not as historically accurate as I'd like, it does validly a historically viable mission, experiences, and the grit and grime that modern war often produces inexperienced frontline soldiers. It also explores war's effect on youth, the warrior's mindset, mentor/father figures, willingness to sacrifice for the success of the mission, the raw chaos of war, how bonds form within teams when facing terrible odds, and even how faith plays a supporting roll in the maintenance of morale and mission.
@@juhannusruusu I learned about this movie from Potential History’s video, which I’d assume when it’s popularity dropped off due to the so-called “historical inaccuracies.” Nevertheless I love this movie
The combat scenes are genuine trash in terms of historical or tactical accuracy, but the characters and production value really save it. It's the only WW2 movie I've seen that doesn't depict American soldiers as angels suffering nobly for their country. It points out that these were men who were sent into an environment that tore their humanity and morality apart in the name of liberating Europe, but as horrible as their actions were, we have no right to judge them because we weren't there. I love the cast, the characters, and all the scenes of them interacting. As someone else once commented: Saving Private Ryan shows you what the men went through. Fury shows you why they didn't talk about it.
