Fury is not 6'9". He's tall, but not that tall. In my opinion, this will come down to the referee and the judging: Fury is protected, Usyk is the opponent. But Usyk also got A-side treatment when he fought AJ, so it's interesting. If the referee allows fouling, Fury dumping his weight on Usyk, all the pawing and clinching, Usyk is going to have hard going. But if he gets a fair shake I believe he will win.

Fury is not just a natural super heavyweight, he's a natural extra large super heavyweight. He had the functional equivalent of two weight division advantage on a resume full of short armed immobile palookas. Every Fury fight is like watching a 2nd rate natural middleweight batter a 2nd rate bulked up junior welterweight.

Usyk trains to hit light and fast ... he peppers your face with fairly light punches FOR A REASON. It is psychological and a distraction which sets up for a hard combo. You have his gloves in your face so you feel like he can get to you but it's light so he gets a response and then Usyk strikes at the openings. Usyk has this one training with lights and he simply touches a certain color only out of 5 lights or so....which randomly moves around. It is without gloves on, just his hands and he just touches it... So he is training his reflexes and scanning all around an area ie opponent arms and chest in this exercise...wecalso know he positions his feet impeccably according to Tony Bellew... Usyk peppers you with weak punches to show he can get to you and to draw out a response and he eyes out the openings from that response!!! Plus he up jabs very well and it gas bite... ask Joshua who also was a few inches taller. No, Fury faces his biggest challenge and there's no room for error for either man...

I’m going with Fury

It’s interesting that the general consensus from the casuals and of course fury fan boys is a Fury walkover or at the very least win on points, however the general consensus from the people who actually follow the game is to pick the most rational victor, Usyk, bases upon the evidence of both opponents last fights, a breakdown of their strengths, general preparedness and more importantly attitude (the latter being very close as both know this is going to be the most important fight of their respective careers). On the other 2-3 of these factors, one has to choose Usyk as the beneficiary. The smart bet is for Usyk to knock Fury down at least once (likely at the end of the fight due to fatigue) and win on points. It’s also likely going to be a massively cagey fight for at least the first 6 rounds but I can see Usyk picking up the majority of these rounds, plus we know he’s probably the best in the world rounds 10-12.

The reason Fury appears to have such stamina is because he clinches A LOT ; he leans he smothers and that serves 2 purposes ; one , it tires the opponent , but two , it gives Fury a rest. Thats why he's able to last the full 12. Difference is , against Usyk , he won't be able to clinch and lean because Usyks too fast and will be in and out too quickly for him. On top of that Fury will simply not be able to cope with Usys furious pace (80-100 punches per round). Comfortable win for Usyk in my view via mid round stoppage (6-8) but that depends on how busy Usyk chooses to be early because he tends to kick on in the later rounds.

I agree with Matt. Also hope Uysk does the business because then we may see a defense to the title with a proper boxer in this decade.

U guys always over hype fury, fury is not 6,9 and that been big that fury has is what usyk will use against him and usyk will get fury tired. Usyk level of movement is not at the same level with fury. U can't grab usyk and that's why he is called the CAT. USYK WINS UNINANIMOUS DECISION OR LATE STOPAGE. CHISORA TRIED TO ROUGH USYK UP BUT HE GOT TIRED AND SAME WILL HAPPEN TO FURY

Mr Boxing life can you please rewatch Dubois fight & you will NOTICE over 20 + low blows in which Usyk endured without a flinch from a power puncher like Dubois is actually TESTAMENT to how tough his body is. Then at FULL POWER ONE OF THOSE LOW BLOWS lands on the *bladder that would hurt any grown man* & this false narrative has been created that he's supposedly weak to the body. Usyk has NEVER been dropped from LEGAL body shots & he's been hit with loads throughout his career as well as many low blows. Dubois was a freakish first of its kind. AJ also landed some HARD bodyshots & Usyk never flinched. So please stop the false narrative. It just might be Fury who goes down from belly shots. Fury is chinny too and it won't surprise me should he hit the canvas from a head or body shot. I think it will be very difficult for Fury to land to the body because due to his height he will have to bend his knees & dip which is a big tell that Usyk will read easily. So Fury leave himself vulnerable & open for serious counters. Fury doesn't normally go to the body unless they are his size. Most underestimate Usyk's power, because he's an aggressive high volume puncher, he never puts full weight or rotation on his shots, it's just a little snap, but he has power to hurt when needed. It won't surprise me if he makes Fury look like a clumsy baby elephant and then stops him after he has drained him physically.

The speed difference will be the deciding factor in this fight and usyk has that in abundance. I see usyk making fury look clumsy. The weight loss will also go against fury.

I think Fury will start Southpaw but find Usyk's lead hand is too much, and the fight will go down hill from there.

Fury has better technique than Usyk. It's as simple as that. Usyk just has a pretty textbook Soviet style. Just because modern heavyweights mostly all have bad techniques doesn't mean Usyk has some extremely superior stuff... Fury on the other hand has technique that is beyond textbook. He can switch he can bob and weave he can use the philly shell he can go in and out and he has good inside fighting abilities. He is a much more well-rounded and complete boxer than Usyk with more tools in his arsenal. With Fury fully trained and prepared, he could knockout Usyk or comfortably get a decision win.

Uysk body is where fury will get success. I dont want him to win but i just think Fury is too mobile long and big, as much as uysk is amazing.

As much as everyone has hyped this fight, I'm just not as interested as some of the other fights that have just happened or are coming up. Don't get me wrong they're great fighters but maybe because it's been so long I just don't care.
