Thank you. Not sure if our Church's copier problem in a TaskAlfa is with the fuser? There are indentations in the printed page and some smearing of the text. One part of the orange roller has some of the surface missing. We have been told we need a new printer but might have to hire one. Can you help with ideas of where to look for a solution. Thanks
This is a typical symptom of FUSER UNIT consumption after a certain number of copies. You do not need to replace the copier, just replace the Fuser Roller and Press Roller, but if you have funds, it is better to replace the entire Fuser Unit. It will be cheaper than a new copier.
I can't make a video about this because I don't have the machine anymore, but don't worry. You can just replace the fuser unit. There is no other solution. If you can then become my subscriber, it's very important to me. Greetings.

This is a very complicated glitch and not a clear answer. Follow these steps in order: 1 Checking the wire The wire is not properly connected or is faulty. Reinsert the following wire connectors, and replace the wires when they have no continuity.• Fuser IH unit - IH PWB• IH PWB - Engine PWB Electrical Diagram of PWBs 2 Replacing the IH PWB The IH PWB is faulty. Replace the IH PWB. IH PWB Replacement 3 Firmware upgrade The firmware is not the latest version. Upgrade the engine firmware to the latest version Firmware Upgrade 4 Replacing the engine PWB The engine PWB is faulty. Replace the engine PWB. Engine PWB Replacement 5 Replacing the feed image PWB The feed image PWB is faulty. Replace the feed image PWB. 6 Checking the cause depending on the input power The input power is improper. Change the input power. 7 Replacing the fuser IH unit The fuser IH unit is faulty. (The coil is broken.) Replace the fuser IH unit. Fuser IH Unit Replacement
Fuser release motor. Fuser release sensor. Engine PWB. Remedy: Fuser release motor 1. To check the motor operation, execute U030 Fuser Release. 2. Check that the drive gear can be rotated and the separation is possible. 3. If the motor won’t rotate, confirm that the wiring connector is firmly connected and, if necessary, connect the connector all the way in. Fuser unit and Engine PWB (YC26) 4. If the wiring is disconnected, shorted or grounded, replace the wiring. 5. Replace the fuser unit and execute U167 counter clear. Fuser release sensor 1. Check that the sensor is correctly positioned. 2. Check that the sensor is not contaminated or damaged. Engine PWB 1. Check the engine software and upgrade to the latest, if necessary. 2. Replace the engine PWB.
