Hello. Have you ever changed an MK (maintenance kit) on a 5500i or 5501i or similar? What settings are made in service mode? I have seen somewhere that in U410 we must put 20 blank sheets on the pattern in u412 to change the density from on to off... great job man

If you replace the repair kit, you will receive a sheet of paper with all the necessary electronic settings in the box

In my country the maintenance kit is changed after 500 000 impressions, the fuser can be repaired by changing the heat roller, kyocera spare parts are very expensive

Yes, we exchange 500,000 copies in TaskAlfa 5500, and in slower models 300 and 400. We have rollers only, but they did not go well with customers who make 100,000 copies per month. I have 3500i with around 250,000 page counter. Having problem on the printout , with dirty background. Kyocera service center told me to replace maintenance kit. When i bought the machine, I was told by sales agent that drums life is around 600,000 pages. Im confused now why i need to buy maintenance kit already. thank you and hoping for your feedback.

If you bought a copier and did not perform maintenance using an authorized service, you have shortened the life of consumables. It is possible that they need to be replaced prematurely now.

What would you say is the best approach to maintaining these high volume machines, to replace all these units at the same time (drum, developer, fuser, transfer unit, filters, etc), say for example at 600,000 copies despite having some units in good and functional condition or to compartmentalize and replace each unit only after physically inspecting for damages?

I have a copier kyocera taskalfa 5002i The machine does not report any error but the DADF cap does not work which means that when the machine is turned on, it will not work, but only copy the mirror surface, but the DADF cover cannot copy. please help me

c7301 in this copier means: Toner hopper motor error When the toner hopper motor is driven, toner hopper sensor does not turn on within 200 ms. This error is detected 15 times successively. Remedy Defective connector cable or poor contact in the connector. Reinsert the connector. Also check for continuity within the connector cable. If none, replace the cable. Toner hopper motor and front PWB (YC5) Front PWB (YC3) and engine PWB (YC7) Defective drive transmission system of motor. Check if the gears rotate smoothly. If not, grease the bushes and gears. Check for broken gears and replace if any. Defective toner hopper sensor. Replace the toner hopper sensor. Defective toner hopper motor. Replace the toner hopper motor. Defective engine PWB. Replace the engine PWB and check for correct operation.
