is there a way to modify the solid in the scuplt workspace? Maybe putting an organic pattern on the side of the cup.

Hi Lars, thanks for great videos:) I just have a problem that I can´t solve! I will combine many components to a solid body for 3D printing. It is 720 small boxes (looks like a Rubriks Cube) that I have made a large box in the middle that I will make a hole into. It will looks like a shoebox without a lid... upside down, so I do not have to print the inside of box. Is this something you may have an answere to... I have searched the whole internet without results :)

Thanks, the handle bit solved my problems, I'd created a fancy shaped taper using a cylinder form and had been trying to cut that shape out of a solid.
@ekebla2228
@ekebla2228 Год назад
Another method could be to generate a spline in a sketch and then use the "pipe" function to create the handle feature from it. This might be more practical for the parametric aspect of design wherein you could setup a few simple parameters to make easy, scalable changes to the handle/cup as a whole. Using the molding feature can be more limiting in this case I think.

I've only just subscribed, but I gotta say your videos are truly amazing. I started with your super simple videos last week and was making models within the hour. This evening and ran into the problem of needing to sculpt and having no clue how to do it. A quick search and 30 minutes later I suddenly know how to add sculpted components to my models. Unbelievable how easy you make everything. Having free access to such intuitive teaching almost seems wrong... lol Simply great stuff.

Love the unlimited integration of the workspaces that it provides without damaging the final end result.Will the Cam result need tweaking to achieve the final desired result? Would you 3D print something like this before committing it to a metal prototype first?Thank you for diving in to these endless capabilities of fusion 360 as the printed books are not able to keep upWith the rapid updates being generated by the Autodesk software engineers . Hey Lars! I was wondering if by any chance you have a exercice where you use "face" in the "create" folder. I would like to make a robot face. Drawing with the face tool, and end by turning the job into a body (cf: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XD7HBFlIFMM.html). But... when I use the face tool, and when I finish to draw some faces, I clic on "finish form" it: it end everytime with a error window: "T-spline topology problem. Use modify, uitlities- repair body to remove error". I try to you repair error to fix the problem. But I'm stuck. It would be great to have your help true a tuto like: How to build a statue or a mask... Thks in advance

How did you change the lines to construction?
@ekebla2228
@ekebla2228 Год назад
When in sketch mode, either before you put the line down or after it's down but have it selected, there is a button in the sketch menu that turns drawing features into construction lines. You can toggle it on and off. Hope this helps!
