Thanks for these videos. I couldn't navigate and use F360 without them/you. There are enough fantastic features that make F360 attractive for a novice/recreational 3D designer/printer despite it remaining a complex, professional-grade product. Your easy-to-follow overviews help to bridge that gap and make using it possible.
Lars, I love these videos. You are a real guy and not afraid to make mistakes... just like the rest of us! Thanks for being human! The tutorials are very valuable! *Lars for President!*
Thanks. I have learned most everything I know about F360 from you. Can you do a video on how to fix issues that arise in the timeline and why they occur?
Good morning sir, you are doing a great job but I am confused a bit, I am a beginner in 3d design so I don't know in which order I should follow your videos. Please can you guide me in that matter.
Hi. Can you amend the info table, say if you didn't want a description, or add a finish? What about line weights, I always prefer to have a thinner leader and dimension lines then the object being detailed. Basic draughting 101; the cut / outer edges are normally thicker. Is there a way to do this?
When I make an assembly drawing in exploded view, a part with multiple Instances appears each and every time in the BOM and the balloons eg: if I have 3 similar screws, it shows as part 1,2 &3. how do I get them to only show as the same part number but with 3 quantity?
great work sir.... i am using fusion 360 education version 2020...when I go to drawing from design or new drawing .drawing module is not loaded...what is the reason...
Hello Lars i love watching your videos, Question: after adding all dimensions to a drawing is there a way to have Fusion check and make sure you didn't miss any dimensions?
Of course not. That's why you get paid to be an engineer or a draughtsman. You need to think what dimensions you need to machine, fabricate or assemble a particular components/components. You decide the tolerances, not a computer. You need to decide what dimensions are important, or even reference dimensions.
Hi Lars Would it be possible to co-ordinate dimension from the origin, something like (X:Y) I am thinking with a manual milling machine and a digital readout in mind Thanks for great videos!
Hi digtos Thank you for watching! I have not done that one, but I would do it either by a simple dimension or using text with a leader. Something like "45 Degree Chamfer on all edges"
Really nice. What about if I have different parts on my design model and I want to do separate drawings of each part on the the same sheet. Is it possible? Tahnk you.
Hi Joe Krieg Thank you for watching! Not what I am aware off, and that is an excellent request! I know the development team has a lot they would like to add to the software.
I'd like to see a live stream where you take ALL your sketches and export them as one single .dxf file for water jet cutting. Seems you have a BASE sketch then sketches from faces of your 3D model... I need to know how to get them into one single sketch file for export to a cutter...
Hi Paul Hitchman Thank you for watching! Did you ever see this one? You could just do the waterjet portion within Fusion ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1x7WwHGby3M.html
Hi Mustafa Aksu Thank you for watching! You can insert the same assembly again, and then on the left side, you have the component tree where you can turn off what you don't want. The end result, you can display assemblies and individual parts. Hope this is helpful. Best, Lars
Hi Boris Thank you for watching! You will have to manually enter those for now. I saw on the knowledge network site that it is on the roadmap for the future
Thank you Lars for all the videos/webinars. I remember some versions ago Fusion360 supported weight variable to be inserted into the drawings. i wonder why it has been taken out? and will hope they will include it back sometime soon in the future.
