It’s always crazy to me that someone could have such fabrication talent, and suck so bad at painting! 😂 His engineering skills and fabrication blow me away!
Cool idea, looking good (I wont mention paint 😉)! I prefer liquid mask, just brush on a few coats then trim along the seam lines (cover the rest of the body with tape, as usual). Gives you cleaner, more precise lines with no runs! There is the drying time though! And not scuffing the body, hmmm................? Enjoying this build, never know what to expect with you two (and the wheel, of course) 👍
Hell yeah brother! When are you building a Leroy RC?? I want a full build series. Welding/brazing/fab, STL Sunday, test and tune. UDR based for the solid rear axle? IFS crawler for a mayhem style, but done over longer timeframe like an old budget build series (vaterra ascender/wraith KC house old school budget build) and at the end, go to Bradenton and send it down the strip.
For the hood if you have some small runs around the edges you can do some black trim tape and line it to hide those runs then it would show “body lines” for the hood
Good week. ! I just bought a fusion pro last week without even knowing there was an se. 🤑So thanks for the info I think when it comes time to upgrade the sons truck I'll have to check the se out. Once this couple new element Enduro's are worn out. We're going to try the For Dyce. They look very well built
I love it! Instead of overdriving the front axle with gearing, I dare you to just put taller tires on the front and smaller ones on the rear the same as a FWD dragster. I'm sure it would kill any actual performance but it would be fun.
Hey josh. Like the white bonnet...but it looks too neat. Think you need to scuff some wear marks on edges of raised area and front near grill...some up streaks. Add some chrome paint to current through exhaust and some blued type heat marks until print in transulucent material. Defo do wheels in that colour. Possibly should cut bonnet out and make it raisable on printed hinges...would alkow to neaten painted areas around edge of bonnet...fasten bonnet with bonnet latches agaun possibly 3d printed or bought if made. Add some addition wear and realism by given body a bent in area maybe wheel arch and chrome marker area then rust streaks in area to age. Age the sprayed wheels after done. Possibly cut drivers window out add 3d print interior and find a driver figure... rugged dude action figure like arnie from predator or summin. Add some graphics....like fusion...hot wheels....kmc....etc onto body maybe even colour coded to wheel colour? Few ideas for ya. I love these builds. Peace.... Hope u do read comments for ideas.
You need to change the bankruptcy spin to an extra hundred dollars spin. Just saying. It stresses me out every week to see the possibility of money being taken away.
@@HarleyDesignsInc that’s a skill I haven’t tapped into year so I’ll be looking out for it. I’d like to add flashers in an upcoming hot rod build and that could be the golden ticket.
@1:30 the “window hood” on the Hotwheels car.. You might like the window hood I did with my Skyline build! It also has an engine bay and resin printed R34 engine! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-G9_LMnPIQgo.htmlsi=Y-Kfoy6GdPr37RDn Since it’s topic related I’ll share my video post here because sharing is caring🙏🫵..
Also thank you for allowing us to share our ideas and suggestions in regards to your Fordyce rc project! With all the printing capabilities you possess it would be great to see some ideas applied to your project! Thx again can’t wait to see where your project goes😁
