i am really happy she's open about her inspiration. it's been six months since i broke up with my girlfriend, and watching leslie's streams and her stories of how she's coped with it all made me a bit confident that i can get through it too. but seeing her vulnerable in here made me feel validated and say to myself "it can take some time and it's ok to feel stuck" and i really appreciate leslie for being the positive light like she always is. much love.

@@Kavriel that's terrifying lol, i am afraid i might potentially be depressed right now with her in my mind and also a lot of stuff going around me. so i don't know what to anticipate going forward, but stuff like watching streams and watching joyful people truly feels like i am seeing the world vicariously through their eyes and i am in a safer space. it's tough, but i have hope

@@lethargicranger I think distractions can be good for a time, but you want to find some form of closure, and that can be hard to get. In a sense I constructed a narrative that helped me understand what had happened and process the loss of the relationship.

@@lethargicranger It took me 2 years to get over an ex and it was after the break up that I got into watching steamers and although it was important as an escape it is important to come to terms with how you feel Since you mentioned you might potentially be depressed, my advice would be to talk to yourself and be honest. Sometimes hearing what you think/feel/believe out loud gives a different perspective. I hope you manage alright bruv and don't be afraid to ask for support from people
