Once you sleep on a futon, and give it a good try, there is simply no going back to a conventional Western bed. Hubby and I love our futons. They are cozy, support the back and legs, and really promote good health and restful sleep...Funny, when we lived in NYC we had a very small place, so space was really a consideration. We decided to get futons. Well, now we live in the South in a much larger apartment - there IS room for a bed, but guess what? We still have futons and love them!
The best material to use is extremely well washed clean pure sheep or lamb wool. its natural, prevents bugs, humidity and cold, preserves heat and is the best natural insulation . This method is in fact PERSIAN and transferred to Japan more than 2000 years ago.
Would cotton or wool, work better, in a 1/3 scale, fir a Super Dollfie? 🤔 she's about 55cm tall, resin, an' I'm becomin' determined te make her a wee futon set te lay oot beside ma own 😅 ma thoughts bein' a futon set fir a larger doll, is better then a huge bed takin' up a lot of space, especially if I decide te make her 60cm tall brother a bed set, as well, an' their almost 30cm wee siblin. 3 wee futon sets might look cute, folded up, in the daytime, atop ma own folded up futon 😹
This is the 4th video on makin' futon, i've watch't tenight & i'm becomin' mair determined te try it oot in 1/3 scale, in order te try make a shikibuton fir ma Super Dollfie 😻 I hink i hae the theory of how te dae the inner cotton. Its jus' the stitchin' that adds te the structure, that needs te make mair sense te me 🤔 though, next i need te see if there's videos oh how makura & kakebuton are made.
