This is actually me. I didn't buy FIFA 21 as I just kept playing FIFA 20. In fact I kept playing FIFA 20 until a couple months ago. Ultimate Team is actually so much fun when you don't have to stress about grinding loads of games within a time-limit to get a specific player you want. This way, I can just play FIFA casually without having to stress. I only bought FIFA 22 in May as I saw the disc version for £5 at CEX, and it was the middle of TOTS. At first it wasn't huge fun as I got backk into the FIFA grind to try and build my club up as quick as possible, but now it's stress-free again and I'm just enjoying playing the game. I'll probably do the same and not buy FIFA 23 at all and just play FIFA 22 until the EA release their first non-FIFA game.

The Menu Grind is actually enjoyable but the gameplay is so bad… played some Coop Rivals with a friend today and it was painful

it used to be like that but nowadays we atleast get content until the end of the game. but well, you just dont feel a rush from anything anymore. WL pointless and getting big players isnt exciting anymore either .. well unless if you could never afford anything / arent good at the game .. and those are tbh the ppl who come out and say theyre having actual fun. its less stressful but actually fun no. but hf to menu warriors but gameplay shitters out there.

Yeah ss sané is pretty nice, he was my first special card, got him out of a preview pack when he was first out and I had just started grinding, had to grind to get the coins for the pack too lol, he has a great feel on the ball and 5 star skill moves, he has great chem with futties coman and any German bundesliga player, currently have him with nkunku, haverts and gomez for the links, solid pack man.
