The last generation with massive wing and fender flares is just a stunning car. Even now in 2022 it still looks amazing!

It's a beautiful space ship that is made for the road. It's the most forward looking design (besides the Vector W8) and it still looks like it came from the future. Designed in 1971, in the middle of the malaise era, this thing STILL has no equal in looks. An Italian masterpiece. Thank you Ferruccio for taking an insult to heart and giving us this perfect response.

Still love the Countach to this day!!! I remember seeing them and having posters of them when I was a kid back in the 80's!!!! Then the Diablo rolled out when I was a teenager and I still love those too!!!

Fantastic camera work and a stunning qv. I do think its important to say though the segment about the aerodynamics of the car is completely wrong, while the countach does have a wedge shaped design its aerodynamics were far less impressive then stated . Due to the space and angle of the nose it caused a lot of lift by the front tiers in the mid to high range of speed leading to loss of steering, traction, and breaking that would progressivly get worse the faster you went. While the wing on the back did provide lots of down force it was not needed as the rear tiers and natural shape of the car were able to provide all the downforce to the rear it needed. All it did was provide useless down force that would not be used/ needed. This worsened the cars drag taking 15mph off the top speed when the car was optioned with it and only worsened the front of the cars lift problem.

Great video but too much music and only the engine noise towards the end of the video. We want to hear the car!! For those who like a straight through exhaust on a Countach . . @countachlamborghini
