This is why I LOVE your channel, you keep things so real. We struggle paycheck to paycheck but our bills are paid on time. You have turned the house into a home filled with love. Your children are happy and their love for you really shows as well as yours for them. Forget the negative comments and focus on the positive. Some people are just mean.

I can’t for the life of me understand how some people can be so mean. I was brought up like many of you, if you don’t have anything nice to say then don’t say anything at all. Here is a beautiful family. Who are real and struggle like most of us but yet always making sure their kids are feed, have a roof over their head, and food in their stomach. You’re both teaching your kids it’s more to life then material things. They are always going to remember all the fun times they had as a family. Not the things you bought them. Just know this. My room is a disaster area and I’ve been in my house for 13 years! I’ve done so much purging over the last year but it reproduced very quickly. I just had it clean last week but I purged other areas and that’s where everything landed 🤷‍♀️

List your items to tackle and check them off - you will be surprised and motivated even more by how much you accomplish. I love how real you are! It’s refreshing seeing people renovate who are not loaded with money. Most of us are not in a situation where we can spend tens of thousands of dollars on home renovations or just making our homes look beautiful. I love that your not afraid to tackle things yourself. I think u are a great mom the first video I seen of yours was the one where you was redoing your front porch and I was so impressed with your patience with your children girl you are great and I love your channel. You keep everything under control. I’m a grandma now but when I was younger I had 3 children of my own then all the kids around liked being at my house cause we just had fun but I would have to clean and cook then they just set and watched tv. But sometimes I was overwhelmed with it all now it’s starting over with grandchildren but that’s fine. Life is short enjoy your life and never never give the haters a second thought you are so hardworking, great mom and so creative and the way your kids look at you they radiate love for u girl 💙❤️❤️💕💜

You are doing great, you don't have to rush putting things together this is your forever home take your time it will all come together. Oh before I forget, I'm here in Florida as well google and see if there is a Habitat Store in your area you can find all sorts of household things for a little amount of nothing. When we purchased our home we've brought blinds light fixtures etc... from there they have it all, you should be able to find the island you were talking about when your ready for it.

We have moved about 8 months ago and I’m really being thrifty with my decorating purchases as well. I love your daughters desk I was so happy to see that it was sooo inexpensive anyways as she gets older I believe she will love the top of that to display things or even decorate with pretty lip glosses and such. I got framed mirrors at wal-Mart in the mirror section for my 17 year olds daughters room. They measure I think. 16x16. But in that same section they also have un framed which I bet measure smaller I think they came in like a set but anyways they are so reasonable. It may fit in that little cut out???? Oooo and I’ve seen small round ones too maybe dollar general but. I payed less than 6.00 each. We did a like a focal wall of 9 so I need them to be light on the wallet I picked them up at different times too that way the expense wasn’t all at once. We got the inspiration from a store she likes to shop at. Hers is on a much smaller scale but the mirrors look great. Your daughter could have that plus the vanity mirror to for close up. Lol when I seen that I was like thous wal-mart mirrors. 🙌🏻😁

Dishwashers take forever. My dishwasher on the smart eco cycle takes 2 1/2 hours. On the pots and pans cycle it takes over 3 hours. I always run the dishwasher right before bed, and hand wash whatever is left over. I do prefer the dishwasher because I think of it as santizing my dishes, but dishwashers and laundry machines take forreeeveeerrr

Dang girl! Those are $2 glue on nails!!! I definitely thought they were gel acrylics from the Salon. They’re so pretty! Also Amazon has these vanity mirrors with the bulb lights pretty good size but probably small enough that would fit right in the square of that desk and it sits on the table!

Your house is coming along really well. It all takes time. A little bit each day adds up. We have a small house too and I found being inventive with furniture was good. My coffee table is a chest. I can store games and dvds etc. Look for pieces that can have duel purposes. Hope you have a lovely Christmas.

I have taken my dresser or chest of drawers and put them in my closet if the closet is big enough, to have room in my bedroom, in a small room where space is needed doing that has been such an awesome thing!

Move the bed so u can see the window never block a window. U cant see the pretty view just a suggestion👍

You could hang the family sign above the window it will raise the eye up and if you plan on putting stuff on the top cabinets. Hit thrift stores have to go regularly. Leave room for curtain or valance. All goes together.

Those shelves will be super cute next to the window. I’d take off the hooks on one and add them to the bottom one. Then I’d hand coffee mugs and make it a functional coffee bar shelve and decor on the top shelf. I have a one sided door and one large window. I hate it and want a sliding door. lol Yes dishwashers take a while. I’ve never known one not to take an hour. But it still beats doing dishes by hand. I just run mine every night so I don’t notice it. And then put the clean dishes away in the morning.

Carrie I haven’t read comments but you may want to try switching drawers around. Like flip flop the two big ones. Often the drawers are made to fit a particular spot nd not interchangeable. Probably because of how they lined up the pullout hardware at the factory. Always drives me nuts! Ok, back to the video now

I go to amazon and buy the pillow covers instead of keep spending money for the inserts I just purchased a ivory color 20 inches 2 for I think either $12.00 or $14.00 for the both of them. They are a soft corduroy and I also get them in velvet...they come in many sizes and colors....I love them....just an alternative if you’re interested....I love decorating on a budget so I do...good luck....yes it’s normal for a dishwasher so go for two hours....

Hey mama 😘 I love the gray and white I got the same colors in our bedroom but I just added some blush pink btw let me tell you what dresser is in my room a dresser from Ashley home store from 2011 that was brown and the top of the wood was swelled up I put a piece of wood on top nailed it down them I chalk painted the whole dresser white and spray painted the old hardware black 😂 looks like new I don't got it like that either a lot of us don't and my headboard and night stands are from ikea my from only cost me 100$ to do but we been in our home for a year now and love it it's not the biggest but it's ours 😘

And OMG they are the SWEETEST aren't they??!!! And they are EXCELLENT guard dogs too. Very loyal❤ They make perfect family dogs and protectors😊 Mine is half Catahula and half mountain curr. I love her so much and she took right to our little chihuahua mix house dog. She actually thinks that she's her mommy lol. it looks like the drawers were put back in wrong order, swap them around. off centering the curtain was the best move, i would just buy another curtain panel and not worry about the blinds, you would never see them anyway. its looking great and homey.

I would keep an eye out on Facebook market place for cabinets and French doors... I got both for my house off of market place for a steal and they just needed a little bit of cleaning. Hope it all works out, can’t wait to see what you do with the house, looks great so far 😁
