I love how it turned out ! The open shelves in the kitchen look amazing ! Maybe in time find a smaller tv stand ? It may open that walkway up just a bit more. I love that you turned the couch though , I think it opens it up a lot more. Also those metal farmhouse chairs would look nice at your table. Thanks for sharing your updates!
Absolutely love the new layout of your living/dining room. You look like you have more space in both areas now, and the dining table off the kitchen just makes more sense. It flows much better. We just rearranged our living room since we’ve been “safe at home” and also did some painting. Our home is an 80’s single wide, and we’ve been slowly updating and making it more modern. :-) Learning to love my home again!!

Love those shelves! I giggled so much when you were talking about moving the tv. That's exactly what I used to do, I would just get the bug and start moving everything around. You should use Ecoart Peel and Stick Tile Backsplash 10" X 10" Subway White Tile Self Adhesive Kitchen Bathroom Backsplash(6 Sheets) (with Grey Grout) it’s on amazon. Or any brand of peel and stick tile. I used it in my kitchen and it has stayed on well for over a year and It is way less expensive than real tile!

What if the tv went in front of the window and turned the couch around that way your couch is facing the window and door? The couch would make like a small walkway/hall. I’m weird though, I don’t like my couch to where I cant see the entrance of my home. 🤣 I love the shelves and kitchen decor! Plus... you could always find a large picture/saying to hide the doors behind your tv if you keep it the way it is. Either way, it looks great! 🥰

When I first started my own RU-vid channel I would film one video at a time, but for the past few months I have been trying the filming, edit and film some more technique and it’s working so so much better. I love your home! I love the living room like you had it the second time.

But everything looks so wonderful! 😍👍🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 You may end up having issues with your air return though having it blocked in any way. Those weiners that put the return in a closet like setting should've known better. It can't get the air to circulate through the house if it has a door infront of it...lol. But, you have everything moved around, or someone else may have suggested the same thing by the next few videos (just like the cabinet in this one)...haha, so I'll wait and see.

Just became subscribed and ran through some of your videos. My whole marriage (35 yrs) we’ve always had to budget. Some advice I wish I would’ve done, put a little money away each week towards your kids college fund! Anything per week will help! My husband and I co-signed college loans for both our children! We helped our son for 7 years until he was financially stable to take over his loan ($40,000) we put out. Now our daughter will fair out better because her husband finishes school before her and will be making $99,000 to start, but we still help her. Last years my husband went on disability from a massive heart attack, so we went from $70,000 a year to $50,000 a year. Whatever job your husband takes, make sure you have 6 mos salary saved up for an emergency and if his company has 401k or long term disability, get that benefit. It’s gonna be hard, but trust me, unless you have someone who can help you guys (your parents) you have to think ahead. You made very good budget choices so far to help daily expenses, but these will give you a more stable future!! ❤️🙏 and keep going! I wish I had someone to tell me these things, I was always living in the moment, young and dumb! We are okay financially, but we could be more comfortable!

Yessss! While you were moving the couch, when you first started , I thought that’s how you were gonna have the couch in the first place. By as you continued, I see that you weren’t putting the couch where I thought.. butttt, in the end; you ended up putting it exactly where I would have! Looks great! You remind me of me 8 years ago. Literally from the time I was 14 (literally when I’d be home from school/weekends & mom was working, idk my OCD and just home design hobby just had to. I did that until oh 17/18 Atleast, at moms. I was like you. Always changing up the house, my bedroom, etc. 3 kiddos later, I don’t change my house around like I once did.. I swear it felt like every month I was rearranging & deep deep cleaning under everything I moved etc. It was prob every couple months, but still.. I still rearrange smaller stuff & change things up with decor placement , things like that. But bigger items, like furniture & what not, not even a 3rd as much as I used to! 👎🏻. 🤍🤍
I LOVE YOUR PAINT CHOICE. I painted my house the same color 2 yrs ago. We also used it at my aunt's. Love what you do and your bargain finds. That's the only way to shop.

The couch looks good in the new spot Im still not sure about the entertainment center, it seems akward right in front of the hallway, IDK. Can't wait to see what you decide.

I need to add some more pop of color other than blue in my house lol. That’s my go to color are different shades of blues. That yellow is really pretty. Love the yellow flowers. So springy-looking like live flowers and rich color. License up everything, providing that pop of color. Like them best with the light background rather than on the dark wood coffee table. They look better against a light background and light table or island. If I was rich, I'd want you for my decorator!
Karrie it looks great! Those shelves..😍😍😍I have an idea to throw at you. I recently purchased one of those thin, berber large rugs from Wal- Mart in a dark gray and set it under my dining table. I didnt know if I would like a rug under my table, but I tried it out, and it makes the room so cozy, and it didn't cost a fortune, like so many rugs do. Just an idea, that might cozy up the dining space, but I truly love the new arrangement you have. It flows beautifully!!!!!
