We use FOG hyper red 3, the selling point for us was the added resin production from the hyper red. The dry sift made from trim took 3rd place in ego clash at spannabis this year so it seems to be working. They also have great support. Lights been rocking for 2 years without any problems. Glad you got your hands one for a review.
@@eduardov.8060 for sure, it's a clown... the 600 watt guys with a few Samsung LM301H LEDs and a few far red 660nm... significantly fewer LEDs than a mars hydro panel or others which uses the same type of LEDs in larger quantities... which costs a quarter of the price of this panel supposedly studying in agricultural school, just to do marketing 🤣🤣🤣
looks like a nice light. The way the price looks on the webpage is a bit deceiving it looks like its CHF1 $577 its actually CHF $1,577. I can build one very similar for about $400 so when I thought i saw $577 I damn near put one in the cart until I looked closer
I like the concept and I like that more companies are going in this direction, but if I cannot control the schedule of the additive spectrums, I don't want the light! I don't want UVB or UVA running the same light schedule as my main spectrum.
I run UVA 365nm + 385nm from seed/clone and turn on UVB when flipping to flower. It helps stem strength, leaf cuticle thickness(pest and pathogen resistance), helps reduce internodal spacing, UVB has a slight(VERY SLIGHT, nothing compared to UVC) impact on airborne spores, and with the activation of the UVR proteins it speeds up cannabinoid synthesis and trichome development as both have a protective sunscreen effect for the plant, but is exactly WHY we're growing our special plants. I also use 400nm from seed/clone as well which is TECHNICALLY UVA which actually gives me the bud stacking/internodal space reduction I mentioned.
I love LED light reviews and analysis, one thing I'm surprised I'm not seeing in 2024 now that light makers are understanding IR a little better is some control of the blue/red ratio to control stretching. some 'tomatoes' like to stretch more than others, and I think we could be using our lights as tools to control that a little more.
Will it work with some bars removed, like my Lumitek does. As thats the best efficiency saving there is on a high power multi bar light. I would have bought an Array if you made each panel interdependently switch on/off, So I can start small and add bars as the grow spreads out. saving a fortune in energy.
@@zionlion7668 you are talking shit, even the mars hydro and ac infinity use real chips and LM301EVO series and not simple LM301H and for a price that is a quarter of that many other panels are also modular such as sanlight so we cannot say that it is because they are modular at the moment… many studies are doing them, so the same for that, we are not going to say that it is the studies that make this enormous price… I think he should review the price, because the Swiss took the melon instead of the head 😅🤣
Is more red better? This takes me back to the burpees perfect spectrum of a few years ago… I definitely loved flowering with burples high in red… maybe just placebo effect 😂
Like seeing u show how much percentage green blue red deep red far red and so on. I like see u test the new 2024 Hortibloom mega 2x4 light 500watt. It has a ton of LEDs has len’s has deep red has royal blue ir red and on deep red it has 630 and 660 and Uv also
it still beats it in terms of emission of UVB photons, but the LED diodes lasts at least 15x longer(can be even more with higher quality heatsinks) than a fluorescent tube. I've used UVA on all my fixtures for over 10 years and still none have burned out, which is odd because UV diodes are supposed to burn out by 20,000 hours.
Bet you wont listen but you should do a test with 639nm vs 660nm I see better growth with 630nm 🤷♂️( at one time I taught is 630 more expensive or something is that why they always run to the 660, deeper red that's to our eyes I don't know what it is it don't matter 630 is King) I forget which blue but it's not the deeper color one they/the market use ......
Germany, Swiss and Austria will dominate the world market in every department attached to cannabis.... Now it's legalised/decriminalised in Germany and many other countries will follow. Let us do our homework, the studies has just began and in a few years the whole game is changed 😁❤
too bad not to have done the measurement in a 4x4, that would have been more interesting in terms of PPFD measurement, the map is ridiculous with too many losses on the edges compared to other panels. especially for 600 watts in a 5X5, you shouldn't push grandma into the nettles 😅 on the other hand you're talking about Samsung LM301H so it's not the LM301 H EVO??? which is a bit of an overstatement on the price when you see that at AC Infinty there are more LEDs per panel and more watts and much cheaper
Whats the Hype Just get some far red diodes cheap and good quality and continue to use your lm301 cheap bar from Spider or Mars I believe this will cost 1000 plus No way! Good for bananas! Maybe i buy one used for 500 just to check the hype
