Hello and welcome to today's video where we are going to talk about the Future of Industrial Automation and Industry 4.0, powered by Data Science and Machine Learning.
Topic : What is the future of Industrial Automation.
Use of Data Science, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence with PLC,SCADA,HMI,DCS.
The manufacturing industry is undergoing a paradigm shift, and the transformational trend is towards automation and digitization.
Imagine a world where machines work seamlessly with humans. A world where factories run at optimal efficiency with minimal human intervention. This is the future of Industrial Automation and Industry 4.0.
(Section 1: Industrial Automation)
Industrial Automation is the use of control systems, such as robots or computers, to handle different processes and machines in an industrial setting without significant human intervention. Automation has come a long way from repetitive mechanical tasks to machine learning algorithms. Automated systems can now do everything from inspecting goods to detecting faults in products.
(Section 2: Industry 4.0)
Industry 4.0 is the fourth industrial revolution, which is the Computerization and Automation of Manufacturing. Industry 4.0 aims to create smart factories that are capable of producing custom products at mass production efficiency, all with minimal human intervention. One of the major advantages of Industry 4.0 is the ability to collect large amounts of data from sensors embedded in machines and processes, which can then be analyzed to optimize performance through insights from the data.
(Section 3: Data Science)
Data Science is the field that examines raw data to extract insights and knowledge from it. The goal of data science is to leverage algorithms and statistical models to provide valuable insights into data. In Industrial Automation and Industry 4.0, data science plays a critical role in analyzing data to optimize processes, create predictive maintenance, and even create custom products at mass production.
(Section 4: Machine Learning)
Machine learning is a subset of artificial intelligence (AI) that enables machines to learn by themselves from data without explicit programming. Machine learning models can be trained with large amounts of data to optimize processes, such as predicting which machines are likely to fail and when, so that predictive maintenance can be done, thus avoiding downtime and associated costs. Machine learning algorithms can also be used for quality control and to customize products to customers' needs, among other uses.
