Thanks Pete! Like you say, the "which fly should I use" thing is complicated as no two rivers have the same hatch at the same time. We try to discuss this as we're fishing as much as possible but we'll make more of an effort!

@@IBandAndyFishing ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-GynEXjbakZs.html took me a while to find it lol i loved watching these challenges. when your channel popped up i was like i know him lol and subscribed. i love your small water fishing as it is closest to my own area fishing. i started fly fishing as a challenge to myself, having to work everyday during the pandemic i needed something to distract me. my own style fishing was tightline anyways so euro style interested me. we got stimulus money and i bought a 10ft 2wt and would listen to videos like yours while at work to learn the new technique to me . back to the challenge i live a good drive from the nearest fly shop so when i would see a new fly sometimes i would have to improvise the materials to tie one. i have many fly tying materials now but one that i still tie is a walts worm with hair from brushing our cat, i call it the rudy fly. after all this i just wanted to thank you for your videos listening to your videos helped me through some hard days at work. i watch every new video you put out. thanks and God bless both of you

Perhaps a fun long form video idea could me a multi species competition or something? Good call Peter, something we talked about in the latest video was how then can shift in to the slower, deeper water in the depth of winter

So, I'm a 40" chest and the medium fits me well, I bought a hoodie and t-shirts in both long and short sleeve from the SpreadShirt shop

Anytime that you want. We're really struggling at the moment for water but theres a section of river which I suspect holds most of the fish. I'm halfway through renovating my house at the moment so it'll be a while before that's done. Also I've picked up a contract for rendering swimming pools that'll take me up to September so..... October or November? There's more here to go at for a fly angler than even I realize. Trout in the Pyrenees, catfish on the plane, mullet in the harbour, largemouth in most lakes. Zander are about but very tasty therefore very rare.
